I wonder what year we will eventually get the juvenescence IPO? Mellon been saying so since 2019/2020??
Anyone any ideas what it's been touted at? Gotta be at least a billion if their last raise was 100mil?

This "fund "has been a shame for years midas.set up just to invest in friends ventures using our money!!!
Us private investors will never benefit .
Just look at the outrageous salaries Ed and his merry men are pulling here,but where is the benefit to us?there never will be any.to think of the times Ed has said 50mil market cap with no justification and he knew it all along.carnt believe a word he says in the future and neither does the market. He's just an overpaid BS merchant

I just do not get it.we have one of the greatest fund managers in Ed since Peter lynch, with the utmost integrity .
Yet nobody seems interested in buying here??

Its a shame this board is full of. playground taunts,bickering and arguing.
Similar to the asos board.
I know alot of boo customers are teenagers but it's sounds like the shareholders are too!

Plz don't get me wrong whoami,I am very positive on asos .
I just expect more wild swings in our sp for a while (down to macroeconomics not asos)
My eye is on inflation and the conflict between Russia/ukraine .Once we see them two things improve then strap in because we will be in for a fantastic ride north here.

Maybe,maybe not.but with inflation as high as it is ,gas and electric prices so high and of course the conflict ruusia/ukraine .consumer spending has slowed right down for now.i work in the motor trade and apart from 2008-2009 this is the worst I have seen things in 24 years in the game.i personally don't think we will start to see recovery in the economy until late 2023/early 24.
That will be providing there is a conclusion between Russia/ukraine hopefully some agreement.
But as I have said before I would be fine with that because I could accumulate more.
The economy as fragile as it is I would be less surprised if we went to 6pound than if we went to 10.
But all that is just short term volatility.
I wouldn't be so quick to say the economy is over the worst just yet.
Either way ,asos is a fantastic company and one I intend to stay with for a few years ans only add to.

While I am long on asos and very confident in the future(2 years plus)
Short term we are going to see alot more volatility here and certainly wouldn't be surprised if we visited 5 pounds again .I don't think that is a reflection on asos, but more of the situation in the world as a whole. When the likes of amazon,twitter and Google are cutting jobs and strikes seemingly everywhere ,it's to be expected .
Again,I am very upbeat on asos but because of reasosn I have said ,I certainly expect alot more volatility .
I just think when thinking of asos recovery then first we have to take into account the economy. Once that recovers then we will rise like a phoenix.

Ed is the Ted lasso of fund managers.

This is why I was so angry midas after this leap"deal" was announced.
I was thinking of the bigger picture(value of our shares)
Very hard for sentiment to return here while useless Ed is in charge and its obvious he isn't going anywhere now.
The market doesn't trust him one bit just like most of us don't.it will take a miracle here ,but let's say one of our investments shows potential. there is a feeling here that us investors will not see the benefit .
I was angry because when trust has gone(with fake IPOs and valuations)it can never be got back,it's just human nature.hes bought a few token shares but it's a pittance to what he's earning. This may go up to 8-10p along with the market when it recovers but that man Ed is tainted for me.

I was a shareholder a few ago but always kept an eye on boo , I recently bought back in and will continue to do so,especially while still under 70p.
But this board is so toxic with the bickering (same as asos where I also hold)of course there will be snakes knocking the company for their own means .
But if you believe in the company then why rise to it???
I'm sure it puts some investors off and that is a shame.
Just place your bets and forget the noise ,when we start seeing shoots of recovery in the economy,then we will be off to the races .
But until then,use this as an opportunity to invest .I was telling my son the other day,that I haven't seen a better time to invest since the 2008-9 crash.this opportunity doesn't come around often.
From a selfish point of view I will be happy if the economy doesn't start showing recovery until at least the end of this year to invest as much as possible.

Personally I would have much prefer to see him walk but that's not going to happen.so the next best thing is that he buys in here (I still would like to see him buy some more)
I never thought I would see the day here when we are excited at the thought at seeing 3 and 4p again!
But that's where we are.
Either way it's positive so that's all good,we needed some much needed confidence back here .
On a side night the banter from barwick and midas yesterday had me in stitches with bedsit and Rigsby comments.
It's light hearted humour to pass the time .
Fingers crossed we can keep this forward momentum going

The bickering between the two is like watching my 5 year old twins arguing with each other.
I get it the shorters are like vultures, but it's the nature's of their game.if you are long like me and confident of asos future ,then sit back and relax.

This is a real chance for him and the bod to bring back some sentiment to this stock by buying some much needed shares to prove we are in this together.
If he does and how much he buys will say alot.

The idea that somehow an investor would need to talk this down is funny .
No need to do that,just leave it to Ed. I can assure you I do not want want anymore here.isnt that the definition of madness,keeping faith in Ed after all his lies and past record HOPING for a brighter future?
My anger is being here almost 8 years and buying into the lies that kept me here.
But Alfredo cannot be any worse I thinks its through Alfredo connections we found eurox/average.
That may turn out to be a winner providing there are no nasty mates deals .
But I get your point and said my piece so I will back away ,waiting for Alfredo to take over and then hope for a brighter future for us here.

We all except that we invest in startups and unlisted companies ,so with that comes alot of risk.
Some will fail,some we may break even.but surely the idea was that when we have the odd investment that is great, then that investment is supposed to make up for all the other dross?
Twice now we have sold 2 great investments (moon and leap)at least we made 60% on moon which was a pittance to its real worth, unlike leap where we will lose out and debatable if we ever see the second part of the leap payment .
So ask yourself, how are we the investors who's money is being used ,actually supposed to make any money here ??

Which is also why nome of the board have bought in here.
They knew the leap ipo wasn't going to happen and investors would not be happy, why buy at 10,9,8,7p when you can buy under 2p.
They had that information of course which we didn't.

This deal was agreed with IMG a long time ago Mr B.
I am just mentioning leap as another example of Ed dishonesty the man is untrustworthy.
Lornes mother knew leap was not going to ipo way back when she started selling shares she got from lorne some 9 months ago,which is why she started dumping her 10-12million shares at around 7p.
Ed didn't also bother telling us he hold sold some of our own stock I'm portage
I would be amazed if we actually got our second payment in leap in 12 months time.
They can just say one of the conditions were not met.
