Yea I understand that Claire i was talking more about a catalyst for a deep recession .SVB had 200billion in assets but vanished in the blink of an eye.most economists are predicting a recession some time this year.
Even Warren buffet Berkshire fund is now carrying more cash than ever before.read into it what you will but it seems we are heading for unsteady waters in my personal view.

Is this the start of the crash longlad with SVB going under on Friday? Seems like the perfect storm with interest rates and inflation at all time highs.we are practically worthless here anyway but can defo see 1.5p , we are in free fall.
I can see the wider market taking a big tumble over the next few weeks though.

For the record I am in both asos and boo.
But after the collapse of SVB in America on Friday,is this the start of the recession that economists have been predicting?

I was going to add to my position here but i won't be buying any stocks for a while now.i feel I will get some of these a bit cheaper in a few weeks.but I do love asos buti feel it prudent to hold on a bit and see how financial markets play out.

Well for a start OD I would do my best to keep my integrity .the trouble with this is that this isn't Eds show.hes just the puppet being told what to invest in.also he's showed real trust issues.like when he was raving about emmac while it was in the process of being sold! Then went on so long about ab ipo we now realise was never happening.he was doing his best to keep the lie up while his boss mum sold out.
Also ,why mention finding a 20% investor and then it never happens.also,he sells some of our stake in portage and didn't bother to inform us!!!!
It's to lead us down the garden path.
I get it's his job to be positive but some of it has gone way beyond that.i don't bang on about the sp so much because all of that is not his fault (cannabis sector is suffering)
But some of it is his fault. Because of the lack of trust and transparency. We need a miracle here.

I'm surprised you rise to people with different opinions,especially considering you are nearly 100!
If I replied to people that disagreed with me I would be here all day ha,its all about opinions.
On a serious note though,
Who knows,maybe Eds interests might be a little more aligned with ours now he has a few shares?
Personally, I would have liked to have seen him own a good 5% and show some real commitment and belief in what he tells us.lets all try be positive I guess is all we can be.

Yea the synic in me would have to agree barwick.as we know ,leap has gone now.
But I am still concerned because as I say I see no evidence of investors being put first ...or second!
I would love Ed to prove me wrong but the cynic in me doubts it .
But we all live in hope.

I only held on here so long because I really believed in leap.i researched the hell out of it believing even Ed couldn't screw us over.
It's dawned on me that research is pointless here unfortunately.
It's obvious that Ed has been brought in to use our money to invest in his mates ventures and to look after himself with an outrageous salary only working a few hours a week.us investors are irrelevant unfortunately.

DaProphet.alot of us have boxed for a few years ,nobody cares though what useless Ed has done,
I care what he's he's doing here!!!
In his short time in charge here how many investments have we had wrote off under his watch again is it 5 so far?
Even if say eurox comes good then Ed has proven he will waste the money away.hes incompetent.
The same people who believe he will eventually deliver here are same people who still believe that covid came from a bat market!

Problem I have with ffwd/seed is the constant rinse and repeat without any progress at all for us investors.(from memory)in 2018 we sold our stake in Nuuvrea/aphria for 14.5mil dollars. In 2020 we invested 6mil in factom when everyone else refused.
We also invested most of the other money in failed ventures.so we basically lost all of the nuuvera money.abony walked away to wreak more havoc at YOOMA.
In 2021 we get 5 mil from sale of emmac only for Ed to give half that money to his mate abony,now as we all know that money is now worth 43k!!!
Back in 2017 we was offered 4.5mil for our stake in leap when it was nothing.
6 years later and after dozens of exciting games and partnerships we are told we are lucky to get 5mil back spread over 12months??
All this just stinks from head to toe.
Like the moon deal in 2016.
I personally like eurox but look at the history here,even if say (unrealistically)we got 20mil for our stake.
This corrupt lot wouldn't pay us a dividend.
Instead ,they will just invest whatever money we get in friends ventures .
This lot get grossly paid for doing a terrible job while we are left holding the baby.
Some chap yesterday said oh well it's investors fault for believing the CEO??
As longlad said the other day,I would respect these crooks more if their pay was performance related .
But they won't ever do that as we all know.
So knowing the terrible history here as we all do,how are we supposed to attract new investors?
This is a rare fund where the NAV actually decreases over 8 years.
A monkey would have been luck picking stocks than this lot.

This wasn't about investors being nieve because they believed the CEO made a one off comment about what our market will be.oh no,he told us leap was about to IPO ....for 18months .so he knows we assumed he based the future value on the forthcoming ipo.now it turns out there was NEVER going to be an IPO! Don't put that on investors buddy,that snake behaviour is on Ed.its deciet at its finest.

I certainly blame him for his deliberate lies and deceit. He was talking about leap ipo for 18months....an ipo he knew was never going to happen.
Like the 50mil market cap bs was deliberate to mislead investors.after all the progress leap had made we are only getting back for it what we paid for it after holding for over 6 years and that's if we are lucky.
He had the audacity to question why lornes mum was selling when he knew there was no IPO that is why she was selling cos he had given her the heads up!
How much have we lost on YOOMA?
In fact ,his record here is a disaster .he's a complete failure....and a deceitful one at that.

Is just business as usual here as we head down to 1p.
The likes of Ed is why AIM has a bad name.

The only thing Ed has earned midas is criticism!
Even Alfredo has no confidence in him,he shows that by not buying one single share here!

I still remember Ed on a podcast having the audacity to question lornes mothers decision to sell her millions of shares 10 months ago when he knew all along exactly why she was selling because he had given her the heads up!!
He is manipulative and just plain untrustworthy.
I like a few of our investments (especially avextra)
But Ed has proved time and again with his deliberate misleading and blatant lies that we will never benefit from anything.
Someone said this week" well we are high risk"
Decent VCs return 10x
I wasn't being so greedy I was thinking maybe 4 or 5x a return over a few years.
Look our disgusting performance here!!!
We have a market cap of 4.5mil and falling.we are almost worthless.

I don't understand that if you have no faith in Ed as you say?
My anger is through holding and adding for many years here ,believing in certain investments but only to see us investors not reaping the rewards.
My reason for not adding is because Ed is still in charge .he was hand picked by his mate lorne for a reason.
I will not waste another penny here,I have wasted tens of thousands of pounds because I wanted to believe in what Ed was saying.its a very expensive lesson learned but one I will not repeat here again.
But good luck to anyone adding/buying here I genuinely mean that.

We held up quiet strong today.
On a personal note ,If we go up then great,but if we go down then I can buy more for the same money.
I personally don't expect a big recovery here until at least the middle of this year or maybe late this year as the economy recovers.

Seems you are may be right ,where will the big returns come from?
Emmac was supposed to be one and then leap was supposed to be another.but as we know ,Ed will not liquidate the fund because its his golden goose.he will bleed us dry......he's almost there then!
But where is that juvenescence IPO????
