RE: Sinking ship?27 Apr 2022 13:05
cuckoo I have also been here a long time, seen Fund raises where Ordinary PI's were kept out. I do not beleive Richard Sneller is here for fun, he has history within Corporate Investing where his performance was at the top. Algy Cluff is a big pal of Michael Spencer ( now Lord) , so do your suspicions include that connection?
Apart from Shell, who seem to be attracting much publicity, we have Cairn(Vedanta) on board who have not allowed the grass to grow under their feet. They may well beat Shell to the Drill.
Talk of Fund raising is very premature, but if the concerns are not answered, PI's should turn out in force at the AGM which I think is towards the end of May.
I too have raised concerns some time ago regarding Swindells Stewardship. Accountants in my opinion rarely make good CEO's, however Mark Lappin should be ensuring the ship keeps steady and on the course we all expect.
I know the worry PC can create and echo the advice to get tested. I also send my best wishes and that the Radiotheraphy goes well.
