Mr P. I read much the same from the rns's. Oil shows, better potential porosity than similar nearby producing wells, positive feedback from logging. No point testing if there is nothing to test. Looks like a fair chance of SP increasing over the next 2 weeks as gamblers place their bets. Not in here by the way, just browsing.

Last info was that bago would take 6 weeks after signing the contract, Contract not signed, therefore no pipeline. Nowhere for gas means no oil production other than whilst testing and gas flaring. Anyhow, two-penneth thought process from a non-geologist. W38 success depends upon where and how the water is entering the production zone. If it is via a fault section on 16Az, then wherever that section is, it can be isolated in both 16 and planned in the W38 well design. If it is simply gushing into the production zone via highly porous rock formation with connectivity to both oil and water reservoirs then they wont be able to isolate it as doing so would isolate the oil as well. I am staying out of here just now although I would dearly love to buy in again with some certainty on the water solution. I also I want to see the gas connection via bago agreed and installation under way-maybe even commissioned before I take a risk of losing the money that bloe has made for me. Get it right and the price will be back in the teens, if not then it will probably halve from where it is. Good fortune to you and each to their own, u-bends 'n' all.

We must have been in and out of bloe at the same time more or less. I paid 2.95 initially, Jan/Feb and then added some more at about 4, and more at a bit higher sold at an overall 3 x investment. 7k turned into 23k. (tied up in a sipp) Not bad for 6 months though. UJO bought small amount .9 and sold at around 0.3. Wish I had got rid of Zen, put into both of those two and bought back here when the price went to 2.45, but being a stubborn old goat I kept the Zen shares. Still, the times they are a changing--slowly--but changing they are. Not sure that we will see much higher than current price with c37 though-unless it goes bonkers and delivers 300 plus. I think c30 will get us towards 7 which would be excellent for this year. Who knows eh?

We are still somewhat unloved, things will change after C30 results come in and with luck, a delivery plan for the additional well deepening opportunities identified by the Geologist and reservoir engineer. On the face of it we should be looking at 6-8 more deepening projects and a new well which is looking like a horizontal into the quagmire at Murudkhanli--so far untapped, un-depleted, virgin territory out of reach of earlier technology and appetite. Can't wait for that one.

I am desperate for the SP to reach near to 10p as my life has changed somewhat since we met at the December seminar so maybe I am subconsciously trying to protect myself from disappointment by expecting little. I would be quite impressed if the two wells add anywhere near 500 between them but in reality I have no more idea about what they will produce than our Rocket man has about which way is bollinger band is pointing, so, it could be anything. The ship is fairly tight with Zen but I have previously noticed a slight increase in trading activity just in advance of an rns and so far that hasn't been evident so I guess that there is no news from the well head just yet.

@1000bbls, lift costs reduce from $19 to $9 per barrel. Taking off 20% for SOCAR share gives $43000 per day, which is $15million per year. This surely must give us at least 50m mcap being conservative which brings us to 14p.
1000 bbls is a bit of a stretch for this year in my humble view.

Cant really disagree. Mcap before 16Az was about 9-10 million. They have some cash which is diminishing and the knowledge that water is likely to be a problem to solve across the area. See the report posted by Sea7 yesterday. I would be interested if the mcap was around 12m but only on the basis that the Sp will increase at some point over the next couple of months due to the current well activity. It is all such a great pity and currently disappointing to say the least. Pays your money and takes your choice. Gas later on will be a new chapter I think.

Mike. Gas in the context of being able to earn some pennies from the gas produced alongside the water and oil, also for the next well when gas starts escaping to atmosphere. Its better than venting it or flaring it. Gas production I would agree is months away from now. If they can pipe the gas once separated etc then there is a small monetary benefit, but at the mo,,, there is radio silence on bago's progress. Hence I am still waiting before buying again.
