Actually, that is not entirely the case as 'long way' is rather a subjective statement. With reference to distance then the distance on this side track is less than the previous one, there is however a pilot drill to be made which adds to the distance. If the reference is to time, then there may be news at any day between now and the next year which in the life of human existence is very short. There may be a signature on the gas connection contract tomorrow, next week, next month. There will be news about the pilot drill soon, there will be continuous news on the kick of for the sidetrack. the job should be finished this side of Christmas which is not very 'long' in terms of time unless you are a small rodent with a lifespan of several weeks only.
M31- I am not a ramper of this stock and still fence sitting but simply wanted to point out that in the same way that PH statements were misleading, so can yours be--just by accident and without malice. PH played a blinder with the funding otherwise there would now have to be around 800million shares in issue to get the funds together and that may not even be possible with current knowledge of 16az issues. There is still life in the project and therefore hope.

Happy. Correct. Money being spent upgrading the field, progress being made, production target not yet but should be very soon therefore no worries. SOCAR on board and understand the earlier difficulties. Maybe they are the ones to be held to account with misguided information.

I agree that folk should not focus to much on this first well performance and should adjust expectations. Success is to complete it safely and get it into production, whatever that may be. So far, it has been about as timely as I expected, I said end of Sept some weeks ago. The drilling section went quicker than expected, the logging, casing and cementing has been a bit longer but altogether OK. Well prep on C30 is coming along rapidly and we can also see maintenance work ongoing with the A80 to keep current wells cleaned up, descaled and wiped clean. The company is about 2 years behind where it should have been by now but is now much better positioned than it was initially--although I would say that most of us that put our hard earned money in here were not really aware of their limitations at the time. The team are working well on the ground and it looks like Zena have recruited new guys (even my lada niva that appeared in all of the earlier video shots looks like it has been replaced with a Mitsubishi or something similar). C30 should be a quicker event, a slight deepening only and then straight to production and then alongside interventions carried out by the new A100/120 we should be thinking about getting Z01 off from the drawing board and into the field. A Horizontal right through the middle of the known production zone over 500m plus would get this company right back on track.

Next couple of days hopefully. Cement curing now, then maybe run a casing log, then perforate the casing and stimulate flow. As a warning, it may not be an immediate high flowing success therefore give a few days to get itself wound up. Rome/day/etc. On the other hand it might blow the bl**dy doors off so to speak.

Nope. They have 1 million dollars a year income only and a reducing cash pile, loss making and now with a question mark over their integrity and behaviour--even that nice cuddly Chairman. Mcap still to high. 12-15million and I might be interested, and I am not even in the deramp crew. I am really disappointed about the outcome at this point.

Hey blood brother. Oil may be covering costs of water disposal with luck. Next well needs to perform reliably above 200 and the gas needs connecting quickly. Funds will be being spent and not replaced, currently loss making. Worth a gamble once it bottoms out I would say.

Bloe, producing 80bbls in total. 50 from the new well and 27 from the rest. The downhole issues were quite obvious even though I was of course 'corrected' by the experts when I said something about it. The problem was even inferred by the CEO when he said something like 'we will learn from 16az' I am comfortable here in that we are cementing the casing/liner and not relying on expanding plugs or whatever has failed over in Georgia. Production may be slightly reduced using casing and perforation when compared to open hole but it protects the well and has more reliable isolation of unwanted zones--usually.

Looks like a buying opportunity coming up today. For an overall company production of around 80bbls from WR and Norio/Satch, they are not at their earlier announced break even point of 100bbls yet. Water will be costing money to transport and re-inject and nowhere yet for the gas to go. Can't see this news being received particularly well. New design going forward for water isolation on the next well should see a better result.
