Hey you lot, I have posted that info 2 or 3 times referencing being able to go straight to monetisation. Don't you listen to anything that I say ? :) Infrastructure and storage available inc refurbished tanks and upgraded pipework. All of thee producing wells have pipework connections as they have been drilled, plugged in and left to pump out until they slow down or stop. Production next week or two will go straight out to be counted.

Once upon a time, I bought a wad of these for 12p. Happy to not be still holding them, but it goes to show that there is merit in short termism.

Don't forget the drill costs are minimal by comparison and this well was a simple workover, touchy-feely exercise to bed-in the rig and crew. Next one is more simple and only encounters the depending of the Eocene. For me, 150 would definitely be a success at this point. I of course would dearly love to see 500 thereabouts but would not be too disappointed at 150 ish. A week or so and we will know.

Should be about ready for the casing run today, get it landed over the weekend and concrete flowing, should be perforating by the end of next week after hardening and maybe a casing logging run. they may not do the logging run on small dia.

So, what do we all think it may be?

We may get some more twitter activity today or tomorrow with news that casing operations have started. Lets hope news keeps coming to maintain interest at least for the next week-10days until the well goes into production.
Photos of civils activity and site prep at C30 to come and then lets see if they can get this rig to sit on top of the Lada Niva and transport it lock stock down the road ---ahem. The move could be done by splitting it all down into 5-6 major components and transporting on trucks fitted with adaptations to provide support. Will be interesting to see how they do it.

Eye In its current state, it is a gem. the past 18 months has been tedious to get to where we are today. I am not expecting massive flow from C37, I am of course hoping, but if it comes in at above 150, it will be a massive boost. C30, the next well is promised to be a higher producer as the oil pay zone will be greater due to it being located further towards the peak of the formation. This should be within a couple of months from now.
Oil can go straight to market. infrastructure already in place, plus refurbished storage tanks if required.

Maybe as much as tuppence three farthings?

Morning Eye, You will probably have read that the contingent reserves does not include the Zardab Field. Zardab is probably the most tricky to develop but we have seen an unexpected blow out from one well over there( Z21) after Zen had a fiddle around with it a couple of years ago. Pressure and flow at surface was fairly spectacular and looked like a flow that would support a few hundred barrels a day, therefore the point being, we know there is untapped and un-accounted for oil in that field.

AJB. Morning. I guess you will look in this morning at some point. Zardab really needs a sidetrack or a new well. It depends on what state it is in over the first 2000m or so and whether the casing integrity is up for a sidetrack. Hell of a frustration isn't it. Maybe you could repost the blowout video. I haven't got it. If you do, you may even gain the status of becoming a ramper.

Well jonesy, ''tis about time we really did start ramping as we are now at the beginning of the new face of Zenith. I agree with your 3-5 year view and only wish I were able to see it through to such a conclusion which may not be possible. I will be doing my best to keep hold for the 50p party, which would give us 200m mcap and is not out of the question especially if they prove the upper Cretaceous across the 3 fields. Zen 01 will be targeting several zones in muradkhanli including Cretaceous based on the knowldge due to be gained here at c37 and c30.
Finally the rig ownership strategy will show its benefit as costs will be limited and flexibility maximised. Next project may be the A100 to be given its debut mission. Should be an interesting few months leading to year end. Good luck to you.

Rocket. Surely you must know that to buy something, there must be someone selling something and you cant 'sell' to naebdy. Abs, no you haven't missed anything and Zen should really be in the 20m Mcap range at least before the results of this well were announced. Zen currently out of favour until it performs via sustainable flow--and then repeat the same at the next well (Unless C37 really does kick off with 500 bbls or so per day)

The recent about turn at Bloe and the current lack of clarity, the carp going on at AAOG and certain doubts at UJO/vs its current mcap have probably dented the appetite for oilers. ( our history hasn't been great either has it ! ) I did say --a year or so ago, that Zen would have to prove themselves over a number of successes after the string of underwhelming results. C37 is still under scrutiny and still early stage. Flow to be confirmed. C30 will need to come on stream over the next 2-3 months and if possible, that A100 will trundle along the plains and rock up at one of the Z wells this side of Christmas.
Don't forget---monetised production at C37 will go straight to the purse. No worries, infrastructure already there.
Also...we all knew this was a well where they were using a sledge hammer to crack a nut and an opportunity to bed this new rig in. So far, so good, no dramas with it and a success with the well.

KB. All I can say mate, is that it can be a very good payzone. some wells produce large numbers from narrower zones. Pressure, porosity, width, breadth all come into it. Some wells produce very good numbers from 2-3m.
Happy that they reached TD early. I said they could be there within 7 days and they have. Also happy about the casing. As I had hoped they will case the Eocene and perf targeted zones. It will keep the well from collapse. Upper Cretaceous--no comment about whether there is mileage--it seems there may be. This is however the first stab into it--maybe need to go deeper--just a guess on the basis that clay/Calcium is associated with Palaeocene which sits on top of Cretaceous. Anyhow.. I really am not knowledgeable about geology and we have a jolly good expert amongst us to keep us right on that score. Flow rates.. another 1-2 weeks. We may well double current production and then again with C30. See what AC has to say--own rig... biggest onshore blah blah and hopefully a glimmer of what is expected.

3 zones of pay. from Eocene, likelihood is that one or two were not part of the original production from this well. In any case good news and C30 to follow within a few weeks.

I'm going 50/50 on this one and suggest drilling the next section. I am hoping they will run casing across this Eocene section after reaching final TD and then target the penetrations based on what they identify with well analysis. If we are going to be drilling onwards, it may start today or tomorrow. 250m with this kit, a week to 10 days we should be scratching through into the U.C. Wireline looks to be coming out and the fact it has been tweeted suggests it may be the last run at this depth...maybe. S'all good fun innit.
