AJW. I know mate. I was replying to Mr Meadow who said that the weather was nice in Azerbaijan and the weather would help the cement harden, so I just said that the weather has no bearing on the hardening of the cement as we are talking about it being around 4000m below surface. Apart from the heat below surface there is of course the endothermic chemical reaction due to the composition of the cement plus additives. I haven't looked up your link thanks but I might have a look.
I did say on one bb that they would have to find someone with long thin arms to tap the inside of the casing to check the cement bond--low and behold, someone thought that is was a serious comment. Anyhow, price hovering around 4 until we hear about the performance, might go up, might go down. But it will go up again when we are approaching c30 so no worries really. Signing off.

I missed the tweets yesterday (day) and saw them last night. C30 is progressing very well, mud pit under construction, probably completed now. Ground being levelled for the site cabins and labs. They are definitely going for it these days.

There is no guarantee of that figure, and as explained by others on numerous occasions they used the word average which implies a combination of higher and lower figures produced a different times. The thing may not be flowing at all--you don't know, and neither do I. That's why I am still sitting on the fence with 20k to put in as soon as they come clean.

Mithun, morning. I get the point about the timing of the videos--if Zen are keeping the vids for a day before posting etc. But..the weather has nothing to do with the cement hardening process--think about it :) where is the cement? Yup 4000m underground. Nice n warm n toasty down there.

22 tons produced initially, converted to bbls (depends upon oil type, density and weight.) I made it around 160-170 bbls.

This well originally produced closer to 200bbls when first drilled (about 170-ish). The 5 was the amount producing when Zenith took it over. What happened between the initial flow and the 5 bopd is unknown, but they removed blockages which would suggest that debris was at least partially responsible for the loss off flow.
Point is--if the original zone will produce even half of its initial flow and then tag on the three additional zones, I am hopeful that we may see more than 200. It is a possibility, although it is equally possible that the whole thing will produce half of that. Cement run yesterday, few days to thicken and harden off, maybe run a casing log to check the cement, perforate the well and get it flowing. AC said figures this week. We may get them late in the week, we may have to wait until next week.

Come on, let's see the back of it today, almost made it this am. Will be cheap price in the next few months time.

12m....which for some is an impossibility..could see the SP well above 20p. There are 8 easy intervention/well deepening targets, some of which may be manageable by the mobile rigs. Then there will be the first new well, likely target in a horizontal well under the previously untapped zones in what was the prolific Muradkhanli. A horizontal could give us 2000 plus barrels. All for chicken feed costs.

We have oil. We are selling it, we will soon have more oil, we can sell that too. That's it. Oh! How much oil??? 50 million dollar question.. more than we have now and a bit less than we will have in another couple of months. it's deep, it's under pressure and waiting to get out.:)

I was going to ask whether anyone was going to fess up to it from our posters. If it is the same person then it's a nice days wages.

I thought that you were a gentleman of a certain age wot did go to school and lerned the diffrance between their, there, they're etc and here you are ramping like a ramping person. £1.00 well I would have over 2 million quid in the bank--tax free. If you can arrange that for me I would be frightfully grateful old chap.

This figure is achievable from one well--I have been hoping/still hope they will directional drill a horizontal into either the known production zones at Murudkhanli or go for it at Zardab. This could happen next year and is not beyond the realms of possibility. We have to remember that the current two wells are just the horses douvres, in advance of the main meal. These two are simple deepening of existing wells with the already installed wellhead, various diameter casings etc and are essentially the driver training exercise for the crew and the rig. Follow on work from here should become more interesting and more beneficial to our pockets. If any of us are still here next year of course.

Meadow, I tend to agree with you. I am thinking of the fact that the well initially produced about 170 barrels before clogging and braking down. We have 3 new zones to add to that and if you take a bit off for depletion etc, we nay get to 200. I would be really happy with that sort of figure from this first simple job for the new rig. C30 will be another 2 months approx. and should (at a guess) give over 200. That 1000 target is unlikely this side of Christmas but if overall we are at say 700-750, it would be huge for Zen. its been along time in the making.
