Another 100k buy. I'd say the reaction to the RNS has been pretty positive given that the buying has far outweighed the selling so far (based on trades actually reported).

I wouldn't place much value on it personally, particularly with their price target of 40p. But thought it was interesting that they choose to reiterate a buy now, having been silent on it for the past three years it seems.

2 x 100k buys now reported as well. Where have they got the stock from this morning. Buys outweighing sells by a long way, unless there is a very large sell from this morning reported later today.

I see we have had SP Angel reiterating their buy rating for us today.

You're right GLR, I think the market and some posters are missing the key points in the RNS about grain boundary diffusion progress which will allow us to produce magnets with higher corecivity / heat tolerance, that can be used by the US military. This is the kind of thing that we will have put in our application for US DoD grant funding.

In terms of the 25% point, I think they are just playing a straight bat. They have stated that they are still targeting first magnet production in H1 2027, so no delay. They are clearly learning lessons from the construction and commissioning of the UK and German plants and making sure the design of the US plant is first class. Detailed design isn't a quick process, certainly not for a complex processing plant, and we have just had the summer period, so I would expect things to accelerate from here.

MM's have taken advantage of some nervous holders and dropped the @ss out of the bid from open, it's a definite buying opportunity, as this update is positive, not negative. This is time to take advantage of the fear and impatience of others, I certainly am.

Someone has just stuck 134k on the bid at 34.5p in the closing auction. Nothing on the ask to match it, but shows there are big volume buyers waiting.

MM's taking the p*ss again, don't seem to want it above 34p mid. Real spread was 34.16p / 34.4p but they kept the bid at 33.5p and have now dropped the ask to 34p. Oh well, our time will come.

Bit of upwards momentum on L2 now, perhaps Friday will be kind to us once again.

This obsession with a raise, based on no evidence, is tiring. The cash position has been explained multiple times. At 30 June we had $1.2m in cash and you can add to that over £600k in warrant conversion funds.

Our SPAC listing admin costs are being paid from the CrownProptech funds, we don’t pay anything for Hypromag USA. The money for our share of the German plant (most is funded through matched grants) is provided via a shareholder loan, which I assume has been largely drawn by the subsidiary already as they are only a few months off commissioning the plant (this is the main unknown). Tyseley is operational and starting to earn revenue. The management are being paid in shares.

The idea that we have this massive cash need is just not true. I don’t necessarily think they need to raise, but if they did, the most they would need would be £1-2m to tide them over until the SPAC listing and material levels of revenue from Tyseley and Germany. That’s 3-6m shares, which is 2-4 times average daily volume over the last few months (depending on which period you choose). That’s nothing, and certainly nothing for people to be fearful about.

This drop down is on very little volume, with MM’s taking full advantage, as we saw this morning. Patience is all that’s needed here.

I see they dropped the SP on open again to 33 p / 34p, despite the real spread at close yesterday being 33.66p bid / 34.39p ask. We’ve seen this all before. Looking forward to multiples of this SP in the next few months when all the news lands.

Yes, we would need to pay to use the railway in future, but that's something that's already been accounted for in the DFS. This should reduce the overall cost and increase the speed and reliability of transporting our equipment (in) and product (out).

No, we wouldn't be funding this infrastructure. We would be trucking our MREC to the rail head and could then make use of the upgraded Nacala logistics corridor to access either of the Beira or Nacala deep water ports via railway. This should benefit us in terms of speed and reliability of transport and access to market. The key takeaway here is that Japan is investing billions into Malawian transport logistics to get access to critical minerals which in my view reduces some of the country risk in Malawi, and shows that it has the potential to become a serious player in the mining sector.

Sovereign Metals released an RNS this morning which is relevant to Mkango / Songwe Hill. I think the plan was to use the Nacala corridor / Tete- Nacala railway line to ship in mining equipment and ship out our MREC from Songwe Hill. So this investment should benefit us too.

Agree Ian, I think passive index tracking funds, by their nature are passive and don't take risks to front run. I expect the proper buying to start next week.

While the message that prompted this may not have been well intentioned, it did make me reflect that I have been spending a bit too much time on here over the summer.
