Hi Aug. Good to hear from you.
I feel, based on Swedes for the Swedes, and only the Swedes, that if the they want LKAB to own and operate 100% of Kal, then there remains the strong option of a straight buyout of the Kal project from BEM. At a premium, naturally. Rather than a JV.
Simply because the question may always remain as to whether the Swedes will ever view BEM as Swedish, regardless of the percentage of shares held by the Aktie investors. So if they want it totally Swedish, not "faux Swedish", there is only one way.
Only my thoughts. Weighing it up, in view of what appears to be an unfortunate, yet deep-rooted xenophobia present within parts of Sweden.
That said, I'm sure they could begrudgingly stomach a JV with BEM, if Budge won't budge, lol, should that mean job creation and improved standards of living for the Jokkmokk area for decades. Which it will.
We do still appear to be in a decent position, regardless of this wait.
Atb.
