I suppose the mercinary type soldiers that Russia claims to have little to do with might invade??? How can Russia get anywhere when they don't seem to have any leverage? I honestly think the Indian Government need to get this sorted so they can access more international credit to build the mush needed power stations etc.. in India. I mean no-one in their right mind is going to build a factory or offices where the power supply is totally unreliable which I have read is the case in much of India. One Co. was short. maybe they threw in the towel and had to buy back??

the $1 billion compensation money arrives from the Indian Government then the £20m buyback (on-going), that is to support the sp at the moment (I presume) will ned to be spent. So maybe the very day the assumed RNS drops (assuming it does) maybe the remainder of the £20m will be spent purchasing shares to cancel. Thus we could get a big boost to the sp that morning?? Maybe a spike to £2.80 is not out of the question?? I certainly don't think £2.65 is.

Only thing I can think is it is deliberate as did have a load of gas hedged at what now looks like silly low money. Better prices after hedges expired??? 4 fold??

I mean maybe you can hedge Brent crude at say $70 for the rest of 2022, or something close?? Thus the incomes for the Oil & Gas Co's for say the next 12 months will be quite protected and in fact relatively high. BUT is this reflcted in the valuations?? I don't think so.

Seems we have people here pointing out negative things when the positives far outweigh the negatives. We get the full price for 80% of the gas we sell and considering it's about 4 fold what it usually is this wil be massive. From the Operations Update of 9th December:-
"Serica continues to maintain a modest gas price hedging programme with approximately 20% of retained gas and liquids production covered in the second half of 2021, thereby allowing the company to benefit from full market prices on around 80% of its production. A similar percentage of gas hedging is projected for 2022.".
