The market is sometimes completely mad as we all should know.
Omicron, by the looks, will be the last covid problem for many months, if not years.
It just needs to wash through the various countries in the world.
USA has a bigger problem because it appears 25% or so of their population do not have the intelligence to look at the facts and come to the conclusion they should get a vaccine.
The UK and most of Europe seem to have worked that out.
Cruise line shares should be going UP, not down. It's MAD.
Only down 5.4% now.
How daft.
In 4 weeks or so I'm sure cruise ships will be sailing happily with the crew ans passengers vaccinated. It's pretty obvious.

It's proven that vaccinated people who get Omicron are almost certain NOT to get seriously ill.
Also you are less likely to catch it.
So on a ship with......HELLO.... vaccinated crew ans passengers the risk is obviously LOW.

Pretty obviously now we know what Omicron is like cruise ships with vaccinated crew/passengers will be, in time, allowed to have 100% of passengers and no other restrictions, like masks. Give it what... 4 weeks? I presume the drop is because USA are having the Omicron surge......... but give it 3 or 4 weeks and no doubt it will fade away just like it has here in the UK and in South Africa.

seems on the cards. This means IMHO that the oil price will be $75 to $90, or more in a few years. The Falklands oil is there tested and ready to be exploited. Just need a Company with the finance and courage to get things moving.
If sea Lion oil field gets theb green light then the sp here is likely to go 11p, as it has done before.

I can't believe you actually believe that Russia invading Ukraine won't affect Western assets in Russia. The West would impose punative sanctions on the Russian economy and Putin would respond in the obvious way. You really need to have a re-think. How in the World can investments in Russia or Ukraine be considered safe for heavens sake! Mad.

If Russia invade I presume Western assets in Russia will be in danger, so Shell, BP. Total etc.. may loose their assets in Russia as in Russia take them over.
As oil and gas prices would sky rocket I presume having shares in Companies with no assets in Russia would be the sensible thing to do!! Obvious???
I think one should avoid any Companies with asstes in Russia, or Ukraine of course!!!

waiting for the Indian Government compensation money ($1 billion), then see the sp hit around £1.97, only for it to fall back to £1.88 again. I mean, how many times now! About ime the Indian Govenment paid up I think. Then I see the sp going £2.35 to £2.70 ish. Come on India. Demonstrate the indian Govenment are not a bunch of crooks! LOL!

The RNS this am said Serica supplies **** 5% of total uk gas****.
Gas is ***85%*** of Sericas income, the rest being oil, which is about double what it was in 2020.

On the good side Serica (SQZ) have just given the market an update. They are in UK North sea!
Just confirmed they supply 5% of uk's gas! Plus they say average prices for gas and oil were:-
"Gas prices closed 2021 very strongly, contributing to a market average for the year of over 113p/therm (2020: 25p/therm) with oil also higher, averaging over $70/bbl (2020: $45/bbl)".
- Moved my money from BP. to here to be on the safe side a few weeks back.

This is brilliant news for the M&S and any other retailers that have shops! No doubt many have not been shopping because of having to wear annoying uncomfortable masks. Should be a good boost for retailers with shops!!!
