Supply 5% of the UK's gas production.

Oil price would go North of $100 a barrel and the gas peice would go what.... 6-8 fold the usual. Thus the sp's of Co's like SQZ and TLW would sky rocket. BP, Shell etc... sp's down the pan. Use your brains.

impose severe economic sanctions on Russia if it invades Ukraine, right?? This is the same Russia that supplies 30% of Europes gas, and is the third biggest supplier of oil to the entire World, right?? Maybe I'm a complete idiot but the thought occurs to me that Russia could, well, turn the gas supply off? Then it could block oil sales to the West, could it not? Nah... I must be missing something here............. anyone?

USA and other countries for what.... another 3 to 6 weeks? AS we know Omicron spikes up incredibly fast, but it spikes down just as fast. I just read dying from Omicron is 90% less likely than for Delta. Also 2 jabs and a boster you are 90% protected, plus dying from Omicron after 2 jabs and a booster incredibly unlikely. Some exterts think Omicron will be the last variant that causes major problems............ Maybe the World will be out of the woods in a few months????

for some months at least. Some think Omicron was the last version that will cause mayhem. They think there is enough immunity resistance to covid, whatever the version, the cases will go very low and stay there. Let's hope they are right!!
Intersting the USA has still to go through the mangle before, one presumes coming out the other side like the UK and South Africa. Could be some big chances to buy shares low there before they recover??
M&S are is a very good position to capitalise on shoppers returning to the high street. I suspect this weekend (considering no masks is it, from Monday??) shoppers will be out in force and even stronger next weekend.

it showed Dunelm were doing extremely well before xmass. Of course we have since heard Omicron kept shoppers away directly after xmass and I presume up until about a week ago. That was when studies started being published to say Omicron seems less severe that Delta, that if you have had 2 jabs and the booster you are well protected, and that the incredible spike up in cases seems to be matched by a similar spike down. Of course anyone not vaccinated was/is in danger but there is no telling some people. Interesting Countries like USA I presume now know the likely path of Omicron there.
Dunhelm are obviously in a very good position to capitalise on the shoppers return. Indeed their web site is extrelely good too.

I might understand some hesitancy for a vacccine that has only just arrived and had only been tested on say 10,000 people over say a 6 months. Most of the vaccines available now have been given to hundreds of millions of people and have been is use for nearly 2 years. I'm afraid that my opinion is that anyone who is over 40 and has no medical reason to not have a vaccine and has not had one is a complete fool. They endanger their own lives (presumably they don't realise this?), then endanger their family (and they don't understand this?) , friends and anyone else that come into contact with. Apart from that if they do get ill they stress out their family, the doctors, nurses and cost the NHS hundreds of thousands of pounds. I think they are the most selfish people on Earth. I think th NHS should send them the bill if they get severely ill because if they had any sense they would thave the vaccine and so not get ill in the first place. Unbelievable people.
