See the RNS it's not a special dividend. It's this and clarly the market likes it:-

All I know is after the updat RNS the sp went down a bit, then a bit more over the following days. Everyone was saying how good the results were! All very well but, err the sp is falling........ So I set a limit to sell half of mine at 246p and of course it triggered at just gone 8 yesterday morning. By the end of the day the sp was up bang on 10%. Got quits plus a meal and a pint for selling the one tranche. Still have the other one and of course am up a fair bit.
All a bit odd. Maybe some share holder wanted out because of Ukraine or something, who knows.
Tomorrow..... I mean today (it's 12:15) will be interesting as 10% is quite a leap.

considering the cancelled flights due to Omicron I think the results will be mediocre.
But I do expect the outlook to be very good.
Omicron been and now fading away in UK and South Africa.
USA, Europe and rest of World in the middle of it but should follow the same, quite quick course (several weeks).
Some experts think Omicron will be the last covid that causes major problems.
If so the travel industry will be back in business and with massive pent-up demand. Massive.
Have waited to see but expect major sp rise tomorrow and continuing over the coming weeks.
Already bought some IAG (up 7.4% today).

The sp here has, in years gone by, gone from 3 or 4p to 11 or 12p on good Falklands oil news. I should know I bought at the 3 or 4p and sold at the 11 or 12........ just about remember it.
Got some at 0.0065p some months ago plus have some @ 3.4p. Both lesss than £1k but good news on Falklands oil and should get 3 to 6 fold result.
Worth a SMALL punt here IMHO. Be prepared to wait some weeks if not months.

If HBR could bring the Tolmount gas on line (at long last) maybe the sp would be more like £4.50. I really would like to know why it has taken 6 months (so far) to fix what I seem to remeber was an electrical problem! Presumably it was not just a fuse?
