Yep as a lth I am also disappointed with the share price as it stands. However the fundamentals remain very strong and I can’t name any other aim share that is significantly over funded with many millions to go an explore and update resources. We’ve got I think $18m in the bank so in a v strong position with a major. I’m positive it will come good and increase in value, if you crunch some numbers based on actual data it shows huge value of Bougouni plus we haven’t even costed in gold where previous mre on one of the projects was around 350k Oz I believe which is £700m at today’s prices. I can say is kodal is hugely undervalued. Whether the market catches on we will see. I do still think Hainan may make a TO approach after license transfer.

Yep here is the stuff from a recent RNS….diamond drill programme finished end Aug so we’re just waiting on results back then he can update the MRE.

The diamond drilling programme was concluded at the end of August 2024 with a total of 5,474m drilled in this programme. Early in September 2024, a new core cutting saw was mobilised to site to improve productivity of core cutting and sampling.

The Company currently has submitted over 2,000 diamond drilled core samples to the assay laboratory and results remain pending.

After receipt of these results, KMUK intends to continue its exploration programme at Boumou over the coming months, details of which will be announced in due course, along with assay results as they come to hand. A resource estimate update for Boumou will be conducted after all diamond drill results are received.

Agree Lav. Bernie has said multiple times that he’s keen on exploring other areas and projects. I’m genuinely excited about the future. Bougouni could be one of many projects, we know Bernie is as you say relatively conservative with cash. He’s a huge shareholder so clearly wants the best for us all, unlike some AIM CEOs who are quite frankly crooks!!

Same swest…it’s a good thing but quite frankly bizarre that you can get granted a mine operating permit before it’s been ratified. Not complaining though…adds pressure to the government to get this ratified urgently now.

Not sure it was a leak tbh. Lithium plays did well after Rio and arcadium acquisition news. Started to heat up at last. Hopefully the government get it ratified asap then we are off!

I’d say so onlyking but this is aim! It’s one of the most de risked shares though, being more than fully funded is fantastic and can also pivot on gold and lithium.

Let’s not forget Hainan paid 0.5 for $17.75m worth…and they will want a return on that.

If it gets to 10p beers on me pal! I do think 1p should be breached in 2025 if all goes to plan and then hopefully gradual growth from there. There are so many rubbish aim shares (I’ve bought some of them!) and do firmly believe in the fundamentals of Kodal. Also has great management so it’s a buy and hold from me.

Hard to tell but as it stands a market cap under £100m is undervaluing Kodal’s assets. I do think from the terminology used Kodal goes onto 2023 code. Not ideal as it means we may have away more of the project but we have to get along with the government, that’s critical.

If we assume $1000 pt sell price over entire mine life, (I think that’s low balling it) and assuming for now Mali get a full 15 per cent free (they may buy a further 20 per cent on 2023 but this is not free)…assuming $650 aisc then Kodal’s share of profit over entire mine life based on current 31.9mt is £282m.

Obviously we have a load of gold which isn’t even factored in.

So for me this is very much a waiting game. Anywhere between 1 in 5000 to 10000 junior miners actually get to produce sellable product. Kodal is on the cusp of this and I am proud of what they have accomplished so far.

Plus Hainan mentioned they’re building another processing plant (think was in Saudi Arabia) so clearly hungry for more spod. Plus Bernie has alluded to growing into other areas with support from Hainan so I do like this JV, they seem to be ambitious and mutually supportive. It’s very rare to have more than the total build cost given too - so onto a winner here I hope….

General macro environment awful (war going on), ww3 fears etc, labour potentially may increase cgt, plus license transfer is not complete. Should happen this month according to RNS.

I think from memory kod’s AISC is $650 pt? I have old figs of $436 pt c1 cost plus $125 pt selling and transportation. But have a feeling there was an update to increase costs to $650 pt overall? So at current lithium prices ($769 pt) we could sell at a profit. This level is simply not sustainable though, only a handful of producers are capable of selling spod at these levels and still turning a profit.

We are still associated with prem from an African market pov. Share price isn’t just buys vs sell it also have market performance. So prem being 35 per cent down will affect Kodal’s share price.

Yeah true, the RNS recently I think is pointing more towards having to accept 2023 code but like you said I could be we stay on 2019. It will all come out 👍

Also covered in 22 Sep 2023 RNS. Seems Mali government has not committed to the 19 Sep 2023 meeting…we will see but don’t think this is Bernie’s fault. Suppose it depends if it’s in writing or not.
