Yes Confluence, Rachel Reeves mentions 'clean energy' and 'capital projects' , so we can only hope she is indirectly flagging SMRs as included in her family of 'clean energy' providers. So, Rachel Reeves may indeed give a thumbs up to RR. in her budget. We will find out next week what she is thinking of doing.

I believe the next stage for SMRs will be the GBN/government decision on narrowing the 4 contenders to ONE or TWO finalists. When that will be announced, who knows, maybe by end of year or 2024. I guess the goverment might decide one day! But Markus, I hope I am wrong and the government announce in their 'bud-jet' that Rolls Royce is the best contender that is suitable for UK and that RR. have been awarded a contract to build at least two SMRs ASAP. After all they will only need a small part of the £50 billion which the government is going to use for investment in infrastructure.

The article posted by Uzi suggets it is a third party IP supplier Raspberry is blamed for the fault in the chip. But as you rightly ask why 'wasn't this picked up earlier', in the testing process of the hardware which must be the responsibility of the designing team of RPI. A RNS report to update this board what is happening would be useful.

Thank you for your post and the link which I have just read. This is not my area of expertise but after reading the link article it seems far from crystal clear if the experts can fix the hardware problem quickly, let alone identify precisely what the problem is. Moving on the big question to me is that the company may need to design and gear up production of a revised version may be needed which will be very costly.

ROCKETVI: If it is actually happens that, "The conversion rate for nominal 0.001 is for the second £2m loan only if SND are unable to pay the 15% interest rate is how I understand this." then because 10,000*0.001=10p. ROXI would be able to buy ten thousand shares for just 10p that investors would be expected to pay in their proposed fundraise. I do not expect SND to generate enough profits to pay the 15% killer interest rates. So I agree with the sentiments of valueseeker that one should, "Expect wipeout..."

It will be interesting to see reaction of the market on Tuesday and which way the sentiment moves the share price.
