Thank you HKFuey for the very informative post. A very detailed positive article about Sustainable Aviation Fuel and looking into its increasing adoption. The link with COP26 is crystal clear and great for RR. long-haul aviation.
A great read for all those invested and potential new investors.
Thanks mystic for post which is a relevant to RR. and has a number of interesting sections that link up with RR, such as: "RAB (Regulated Asset Base) could also be used on new nuclear technologies, including Small Modular Reactors designed and manufactured in the UK." and "There is a thriving nuclear industry ... and the initiative led by Rolls-Royce to develop a Small Modular Reactor designed and manufactured in the UK."
A good post and well worth reading in full IMO.
In response to the post by JonnyTwoToes, RR and CEZ have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore the potential for compact nuclear power stations, known as small modular reactors (SMR), to be built in the Czech Republic.

Nearly a year later it would be interesting what progress has been made on this front.
Having read the Financial Mail article posted by Dixon at 10:58 I did think Italy sounds a good place for RR. to site nuclear testing. But having looked into the Italian referendums 1987 and 2011 (after Rick91 post) the resounding vote against nuclear energy, post Chernobyl, makes me wonder if Italy site is such a good idea. Maybe Anglesey with its history of supporting nuclear energy with Wylfa and Menai Science Park, is a better site for nuclear testing by RR.
Rr101, "Anita Frew has sparked questions on why she has made some pretty large buys in the past week."
I think Anita Frew has simply flagged her positive sentiment for RR. as a strong investment that she has confidence in. My confidence stems from contracts such as the bomber contract worth up to $2.6 billion to supply the U.S. B-52 bombers with replacement engines. It's U.S.-made F-130 engines will power the jets for an initial $500 million six-year deal. Surely, this single contract is enough the instil investor confidence in RR, IMO.

Rr101: Morocco is only short haul flights for RR. engines so IMO not a big hit for RR. by restriction of flights to Morocco, the big hit will be taken by their tourism industry. In contrast , with long haul flights to North America and Australia opening up in the near future this is very positive news for RR and our tourism industry.
Thanks Metom & Dixon for your posts.
I found it very interesting to discover that Anglesey could potentially be the first site to build a SMR on in the UK. This would link up well with Government support to build the Thermal Hydraulic Facility on the island which is I believe an element in testing new SMRs. So RR. could end up with the first SMR built in Wales, good news for potential job opportunities in Wales which I should think would be strongly supported by Mike Clancy, general secretary of the Prospect trade union. The SMR testing in Italy is also good news because it may be a good business strategy for laying the foundations for building SMRs in Italy and beyond. All good news for RR.
Thanks Rr101 for post. This is a good news story for RR. So from about mid November I will be able to see more A380s flying overhead on their flghtpath to Heathrow and many more RR. Trent engines will me clocking up serious long haul journeys.
Thanks mystic for the post. Yes it was a good read and provides another way to view RR. in the big picture longer term rather than maybe in contrast to the intraday changes, which have tended to my focus the past few weeks.
Yes Svend> It is interesting to discover that total flights are improving.
Since I think you are interested in graphs, it maybe worth noting that on the intraday graph today for RR. the RNS announcement at 15:00 the SP rose very steeply with the positive news of Anita Frew purchase of 30K shares. But the rise was short lived and RR. declined until the end of the day.
Great that Anita Frew has bought more shares in RR and long may it continue.
I think this event does help to lift the confidence in the company of those invested and potential new investors.
Of course, I think she has made a good investment and wish that many other directors match her investments.
Thank you for your interesting post Svend at 11ish. " The current PA oscillating in a Pennant flagpole (2nd wave high 145p - 3rd wave low @ 132p) a breakout or break down in either direction is the market's next favourite flight destination however any close above 137p this week confirms prior longer-term resistance becoming support while price remains above the 200 SMA."RR. was close to the 3rd wave low @ 132p yesterday at 132.76p maybe that will be visited again in the near future. The opening auction price for RR. tomorrow will be interesting and whether it sets a positive or negative tone for the first 5 minutes of trading.
Thank you WelshFalcon for ASX letter details. Interesting reading the document. I need time to reflect on the contents because they do imply investors have been wilfully misled ...
Yes Thompi, I hoped for a positive outcome and the management have thrown the towel in. A very sad outcome for all those involved in the project including the management team and all those invested.
