It seems to me the share of RR. appears to me moving in a counter intuitive manner, especially today, with regard to supply and demand. Since the more intraday buying demand of shares with considerably less sellers, is resulting in the lowering of the share price. Are the market makers just increasing volatility to stimulate the volume of trades? Anyone with insights to what is happening today to RR. ?

This post is reply to Pat2014. You probably had difficulty getting a quote to buy because RR. was in an auction at 10:15.

Yes Rishab the buying and selling volumes have been especially strange today with higher number/volume of trades buying than selling. The more buying volume was increased the lower the share price went down. Maybe the inbalance was corrected by the market makers in the closing auction which was mainly buying, in contrast to the trend in the day. Or maybe the Market Makers have held onto the extra shares they bought today in the hope of selling them higher tomorrow. We will find out tomorrow probably as early as the opening auction. Some things in life remain a mystery and understanding the share price movement of RR. today may remain one of those mysteries.

Main issue today, is CPI high inflation 10.1% has hit the whole market today, not just this share.
But this company has put in the pipeline flights to Moscow. So European travellers that support Ukraine will not be booking flying with a sanction busting carrier that they perceive as pro-Russia and pro-profit first, before 100% supporting Ukrainian citizens in every way possible. Does WIZZ CEO think that post the Russian Ukrainian War that the Ukrainians will wish them to land their planes in Ukraine, and embrace the sanction busting company with open arms. I get all the stuff about Wizz Air owns only 49% stake of WIZZ Air Abu Dhabi and the rest.

Temporary maybe, "rise in food prices could soon tail off". Maybe this will be because people are eating less and paying more for energy.

What do investors think the market reaction will be?

correction: I hope the decision to ressume WIZZ flights from anywhere in the world to Moscow and through any subsidiary is reversed.

Somewhere down the line the Hungarian WIZZ CEO Jozef Varadi supported Wizz Air Abu Dhabi to recommence flights from Abu Dhabi to Moscow. I find this strange because Hungary is a member of NATO and this decision is in conflict with sanctions supporting Ukraine in their battle to remove the Russians from their homeland. The CEOs father took part in the Hungarian Revolution so he knows about the problems associated with removing the Russians from their homeland. Maybe the CEO is more pro Russian than pro NATO. I hope the decision to ressume WIZZ flights from anywhere in the world and through any subsidiary is reversed.
I expect the shorts positions on WIZZ to increase from 4.01% in light of this anti Ukrainian decision.
