RE: South Korea 🇰🇷11 Mar 2026 23:08
There won't be any shortage of bidders willing to pay a realistic price for Ewoyaa or the whole of Atlantic Lithium once we have Ratification, I've no worries on that front. The last bidder obviously offered a lot more initially than Elevra, as it got them into discussions instead of being flatly rejected, their offer is the one that needs to be beaten not Elevra's, as Elevra's was left in the dust by that recent bidder.
You can certainly add South Korea Battery manufacturers to the potential bidders list, big global brands and some others. That lines up a potential bidding war encompassing companies from China, USA and South Korea.
"South Korea is a global hub for lithium-ion battery manufacturing, dominated by major players like LG Energy Solution, Samsung SDI, and SK On. These companies specialize in electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage systems (ESS), driven by high R&D investments. Other notable manufacturers include Coros Battery, Sebang Global Battery, and EnerTech International."
