I actually wrote to JoyNews last week asking them if they'd heard anything on the plight of the 1000 people waiting for compensation and, if Parliament were going to Ratify the agreement in this session. However, that was before the Gold Mining growth and sustainability levy Bill was put through on Friday under a Certificate of Urgency to get it through Parliament in one day.

JoyNews are wrong to suggest it's stalled:

1) It had to wait for the Royalty LI to mature into Law before Ratification could proceed

2) The Gold Mining 2% reduction had to get priority because those companies are producers

3) 2% reduction was done on a Certificate of Urgency, which shows the Ministry of Lands will use that to guarantee their Legislation is not delayed and, I fully expect the Ewoyaa Ratification to be done under a Certificate of Urgency too

4) I believe the Committee will lay it's Report this week, now that the Gold 2% reduction is out of the way.

It's just due process.

This all looks good for Zenith. If Italy wants Nuclear it really needs to go SMR because traditional Nuclear Power Stations take so long to build, traditional is not the near term solution they need, but SMR can be built in 2 years. This would align perfectly with the Zenith Mines coming into production, giving Italy its own secure supply of Uranium for its Nuclear Power. Italy can also stockpile the Uranium from the Mines ahead of rollout of multiple SMR's.

The bit "expedited to meet timelines tied to international agreements" is precisely what I'm looking for as far as Ewoyaa Ratification goe, it has undergone extensive review by the Committee which includes Minority representatives, it is also an agreement that needs an expedited timeline.

We already have a little list of potential bidders once Ratification is received. Basically any Battery Manufacturers or Lithium companies from China, USA and South Korea.

We can definitely add the global mining companies to that, Rio Tinto being a great example of a company that could offer their own shares to buy out Atlantic Lithium and build a Lithium Refinery in Ghana.

There is a Petroteq Discord group of shareholders monitoring what is happening with the PQE patent on the CORT extraction process and the land titles held by Petroteq. A lot of chat about Valkors intentions on there.

The below link was recently posted which suggests Valkor are looking to raise funding via Tokenisation with an entity called Aetherstrike. One of the founders of Aetherstrike Matt Hamilton also appears to be COO of Valkor.

If anyone can get it through to Tunisia that they would be better to make early settlement instead of risking losing this case and then, if they don't pay up, being hit with a Sovereign Default, it has to be this man, a former President of the European Council and former Prime Minister of Belgium, able to speak with Tunisians in a way they would understand. You just do not get bigger boots than this!

Just in case anyone is wondering if the Urgent Certificate only applies to Bills, no it doesn't.

I asked Google: "ghana parliament, can a commercial agreement be ratified on an urgent certificate"

Google says: "Yes, the Parliament of Ghana can ratify commercial agreements or pass related agreements under a Certificate of Urgency, bypassing standard pre-publication timelines. This mechanism is often utilized to expedite crucial projects—such as petroleum agreements—allowing the agreement to be considered, approved, and authorized in an accelerated manner."

Process: "A bill or agreement under a certificate of urgency can go through all stages—first reading, committee referral, and passage—very quickly, often in one day, bypassing the required prior gazette publication."

Application: "It is commonly used for agreements requiring quick government action. Examples include petroleum agreements and mining leases, such as the 2013 Oxford Academic and 2025 proposals."

What I myself realised on listening to the debate is that the Growth and Sustainability Bill must have been processed on a 1 day Urgent Certificate. This is what I said weeks ago could be used to get the Ewoyaa Agreement through in 1 day. With Parliament potentially going into Recess at the end of 27 March, an Urgent Certificate for Ewoyaa would be highly appropriate, considering Ratification is already over 2 years late.

"Urgent Bills: If a Bill is certified by the relevant committee as being of an "urgent nature," it can be introduced without the 14-day publication requirement and taken through all stages (readings, debate, and passage) in one day."

It was NOT in the Business Statement for this week.

It was NOT in the Order Paper for today.

It was put into the schedule at very short notice under an Order Paper Addendum. This shows it listed as FIRST READING, which means it did go through all steps in 1 day, which can only be done under an Urgent Certificate.
