Rainbow Rare Earths Phalaborwa project shaping up to be one of the lowest cost producers globally. Watch the video here.
Isleworth. Maximus is just full of ****. Always has been always will be. You can dense his desperation. A Walter Mitty springs to mind.
What future decent jobs would they be JB?
Agency soon getting up to speed, somehow I can't see it. They can run as many machines as they like at full speed, but with nobody to collect the mail or deliver it I think they will be getting wages for sitting on there hands.
Not sure where you get this no cost Angard agency staff idea from. Not one agency driver or agency delivery staff that I have encountered have come via a Angard. The drivers are paid more than the Royal Mail drivers and the delivery staff the same amount, but you then have to add on agency costs. The delivery staff do about 30-50 % of the amount a Royal Mail worker would do.
The number of agency staff Royal Mail has wouldn't even get the Special Delivery items delivered especially now DO managers are refusing to do delivery whilst we are on strike.
Hopefully we will Angersharkz but somehow I can't see them being worth as much as your banking on.
One thing you can be sure of Redceo . You will always be the biggest ****** of all.
Then you backed the wrong horse. A company that delivers 1 parcel to every 10 letters is not a parcel company. If we don't deliver those letters then its nationalisation for Royal Mail and you shares will be worth Zilch.
If this board has its way you won't have a Royal Mail Anger. We are failing in every office around the country because our leadership believes we are a parcel company . The public see appointments etc not being delivered every day and want to know why. They want to know why callers offices are only opening 2 hours a day. They want to know why the service is a shambles.
As a shareholder you should be asking the same questions. You should also be wondering what fines we will get for no meeting the service we should be to meet the USO .
26 th August 1st strike date.
The workers have been saying how badly the company is run for a while now. With DO management now refusing to implement changes and looking like they will go on strike , it doesn't look good at the minute.
So you didn't do foot delivery Tygra?
Yes very lucky JB , stunning part of the world where I will spend my retirement . If I'm lucky by the age of 55.
Midlands now covers all the way down to below Bedford and up to just below Sheffield and Manchester. Some of the areas are ridiculous, and the areas relief Doms are asked to cover are a joke. Hence why after paying out EVR to managers, they are now recruiting again to appease the managers.
No JB I'm in the Midlands. I have a holiday home in the South West.
Why would they buckle. Most don't lose any money. They didn't buckle last time. What you may find is more leave , especially the newer part time workers.
Like I've said. Can only go by the figures in front of me and our region covers nearly 20% of the population.
Can only go on our regions figures. As for cooking the books, it's not hard to pay a few bills in a quarter to manipulate the true picture. Royal Mail have done it many times before. One quarter massive loss, next quarter massive profits.
Anger, the reason many of us don't believe RTS Thompson is that for our area tracked figures are up for 6 of the 7 months this year, compared to last year . Our office between 3 and 12 % each month. The only month we were down was April which was a 5% drop. July's figures look like they will be up about 5% and that includes one working day less.
These figures are despite their now being very few covid tests.
Special delivery items are also up. Letters slightly up but that is probably due to some 1coff large postings of a company breaking into the area mailing every week.
D2ds are slightly down.
Costs are down due to low sickness.
So local management are scratching their heads to where the board are getting figures from.
Anger, that came across wrong. I ment many have advised you on here what is going on and a number here have chosen to ignore it.
Anger. There is a huge difference from working in processing and delivery. Very few work in processing and that number will shrink. The vast majority work in delivery.
Mail centres have a fair number of ex delivery staff who can no longer do the job due to age or injuries. The jobs are very easy compared to delivery physically wise.
You have had numerous delivery staff tell you that the agency staff on delivery are useless and leave very quickly. Many managers won't even have them in their offices because they are a total waste on the budget.
As for Scamps thousands of workers in his town , we all know that is complete crap . If there was why are vacancies at record levels .
Anger you are one investor that talks sense but if your not prepared to listen to those that have been telling you what's wrong for months then that's your choice.
Scamp. Working machines is the sort of job agency love. Delivery they hate.
Anger it costs 60 to 70% more to employ agency staff. It takes 2 agency staff to deliver 1 postman's round and even then they rarely complete.
80000 striking postman means 160000 agency staff. All need to be security checked.
It's laughable.
Where are these employees coming from Scamp and why would they be full time. Royal Mail want part time workers not full. You have just increased costs and now have loads of full time staff doing nothing.
