Casper, why would posties be selling up through frustration. Many are buying more at the cheaper price and tax free, plus freebies makes them less than 1-50 a share.
Our revision last year was also done by a senior manager thar took EVR 3 months later. Absolute shambles , with complete streets on wrong walks.
Most posties in my office look forward to a proper revision because they already work to there finishing time. If they add more they will just bring it back

They are being told to implement delivery revisions JB , which they are not trained to do and is above their spec. Unite has gone back to Royal Mail and said , give them the training, and release them from there managers jobs whilst they do it and that will be fine. Putin has refused this so Unite has said its not happening. You wouldn't tell a non driver to drive an HGV , just the same as you wouldn't ask a manager to do something they know nothing about. It's a planners job.

The union has been mentioning Acas for weeks but Putin and his cronies wouldn't agree to it. With managers refusing to force the change because it is not part of there job spec and CWU not backing down looks like Putin is crumbling .

The USO protects the delivery of mail, if Royal Mail goes bust the government automatically steps in, all offices are running with large numbers of vacancies. The ones to lose jobs will be agency, management, and any area overstaffed.
When rail franchises reverted to government control , jobs weren't lost, so why would posties be different.

Maximas. We aren't a normal large company. As for disciplinary. You need managers to do that , they need to support the regime, which they don't and if they make one small mistake whilst using disciplinary codes , they end up at tribunials. That why we are all in the union. Its amazing how many times I've seen Royal Mail lose tribunals or make a settlement just before. As for disciplinary, you have to do something wrong to get one.

None of us are worried RG, a number on here don't understand The USO. They don't understand its law and MP's won't vote to change that law.
