Great to see managers speaking out, especially the senior manager. The reaction I've seen from managers is that the 3 of them threw them under the bus. To blame rogue managers , when everybody in the company knows full well ,that those orders came from the very top regarding PDA actuals and prioritising parcels over letters should make an interesting conference call in the morning. If avoiding any straight answers , and telling blatant lies ,knowing full well the whole workforce are watching is deemed successful then I don't know what a poor performance could have been. With the evidence that is being sent daily regarding USO failures in nearly every office across the country , the board will either have to change track or expect huge fines.

The USO won't change because it won't go through parliament. Loads of Tory MP's have already said they wouldn't back it , because they represent rural constituencies, including my own.

Scamp. The job losses you are going on about, where are they happening on delivery? Those that have been offered it , that's 1 in our office who is very happy , and 11 that didn't get it , who are very ****ed off. The one that has been offered it , still hasn't been guaranteed it, because just like the EVR's that were promised, but never happened, the same seems to be happening this time. Afterall, as all those on delivery have been saying from the start, Why would you make people redundant, when you don't have enough employs in the 1st place ?

Revisions going ahead in delivery , which means more cuts, and more mail not being delivered. Seems the evidence of each Revision is being sent to the parliamentary select Committee and OFCOM. Not sure how the board can bluff this one. The picture evidence is available for all involved to see.

Sorry JB but nothing has been learnt. The planners are chopping knowing they are going to fail big time. Our office is expected to clear 1 to 2 days a week, planners words. The new rounds start next week. CWU has had no involvement, they are sitting back, letting it collapse, telling the staff that all they have to do is work their hours and do the job properly. JB. The revisions that are going on, in offices are being carried out by planners, that have been told by those higher up, to take out a certain number of hours in each office , whether they can meet the USO or not. Managers are telling posties the amount being added to each walk and when they reply that they already work to time, they are told that they know that and the mail is to be failed. Looks like huge regular fines coming IDS 's way. The evidence is already being sent to the Parliamentary Select Committee. When managers are saying its Madness , you know something is seriously wrong. The conference calls are great to listen to, with one manager after another asking how they are supposed to get the mail delivered, when they don't have enough staff at the moment without the VR's . Add on the closure of callers offices which is forcing customers to swap to DPD or Evri etc because they can't drop their parcels off with Royal Mail anymore and you can clear see the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

Some good news. Royal Mail have been awarded the contract to deliver Passports . This will be using Tracked 24, so will get special treatment as they aren't letters. Contract starts 25th of January so should be very lucrative.

Don't forget Isleworth, Simple Simon didn't even know what an RTS was. So you are right on both accounts.

Only compulsory redundancies over the last year were managers, Managers being recruited again, so well done Simon CEO . As for posties getting compulsory redundancies, not one of you Has come up with how it's possible when deliveries aren't going out across the country.
