Excellent, brief interview. Interesting that it's with the US end of Proactive which I think is a good call to raise profile over there. Really sounds like Adam and Mr Iqbal see this as a watershed moment. GLA

Kenny - I know they stressed the dividend stock nature of BEN, but they also said that they expect valuation to reach at least something like 10x div cover, so if they do manage 10p next year that's sp of at least £1 by their reckoning

HH - why do you think any shares are going to be transferred / sold at this time? It's a charge, like on a mortgage, so that if at some future point MBU can't pay a debt to Bluestar then BEN shares are protected to be used for that purpose. Neither bad nor good as far as I can see?

Because there have been regular (daily, throughout the day), large, round-number sells (10k , 25k, 50k +) for weeks (since storey was out). (Not today though as far as I can see - would be great if he's finished.) Very few can be making any money at these levels. To me it looks like a managed process for someone who was in from the IPO and wants / needs to secure 100%+ gain in the short term.

Production increasing at the right time ...

Padd - agree, but I see it as a step-by-step process, albeit happening a bit slower than expected. All foundations gradually being put in place. hwm1 on new permit now getting up to speed. hwm2 will come soon once benches prepared (hopefully this month). all above ground equipment now purchased and own teams being hired. all other infrastructure in, up and running and proven. While this is all being finalised BEN continues to satisfy the current Integrity offtake agreement. With all above up, running and optimised BEN will be superbly placed to agree new offtakes etc for 2023. Try not to worry about what sp is doing now. 2023 is when it should explode (again!).

MBU happy with production plan for next 12 months. 2nd hwm operating on new permit in coming weeks + contract with MHW extended. Increased flexibility from ownership of above ground equipment and own workforce. Content with all this (would have preferred sooner but can live with inevitable year 1 delays). Would prefer sp going the other way obviously, but since no intention to sell then just got to wait til target production achieved consistently, profitability and dividends declared, and if sp hasn't recovered by then, then it soon will after.

yep, good news that met coal price is up and very good to have confirmed that MBU are fully supportive of BEN's production strategy. Looking forward to hearing of continuing progress on the ground, esp hwm2. GLA

Beardozer - BEN's performance has been fine (other than permit). Sp hasn't kept up ... but it will ... imho

Padd1 - I agree. IMHO too much being made of minutiae and short--termism. Step back, bigger picture, think next year, consistent 70-80k+ tons pm, min 10p / share div (I expect that early in the year and more during) and that in itself will drive sp re-rate if it hasn't already happened. ie Rebalanced to say 10% div gives sp in excess of £1 ... I accept if you're a short-termer / trader or need your money out sooner you may not share or be intrested in this perspective. GLA BEN investors.
