My calcs differ from Penstock's. I think AW said breakeven at 40k tpm and $200 pt. Assume $150 variable and $50 fixed costs. 70k tpm and $220 pt gives nearly $3m pm profit. That improves further with further efficiencies, cost reductions and improvement in met coal price. That would pay off loans much sooner and allow earlier divs.

So far Avani have looked and acted like the perfect investor / partner. Long may that continue to the benefit of all. Even if they go over 30% and make an offer, that's still almost 70% held by others, including the concert party, and I doubt any would accept anything lowball given the potential here.

I disagree. Success depends on met coal price which is up from low of $180 to $205. BEN needs that trend to continue. Operational problem fixed. Major investor has shown considerable support and confidence by providing funds for plant investment and working capital.

Tedious trolls. Its a coal mining business approaching target production levels and optimised processes. What excitement were you expecting when (if) you invested? I choose to be encouraged by Avani's large investment rather than be concerned by your whining.

Do you think Avani don't know what they're doing? Question all you like, but why do you think anyone here knows any more than you. You're approach can only be damaging.

Stop talking it down then. If you've got to guess something then why not guess positive?

MHW the contractor will be ramping up to first 1 then 2 shifts per day. I'm sure they're being urged to do that as quickly as possible, but it doesnt happen overnight. I expect we'll hear as higher production levels are achieved.

Why are you here?

Are a global leader in the met coal business and will have looked in depth at everything to do with BEN before buying 29.9% of the company last week. I prefer to trust in the confidence they have shown and the opportunities they bring than the trolling guesswork on here.

Very pleased to see vid of hwm2 producing coal (shared on tgm groups late friday). Expecting quick ramp up to 1 then 2 full shifts. We're nearly there boys and girls - the grail of 70k+ tons pm on a regular basis is in sight. Great news today. Avani will have been on-site, through the books, detailed discussion with BoD and management. Their decision and investment is a major vote of confidence in BEN's future. With the deal complete I'm hoping various other news will follow in relatively quick succession e.g. re hwm2, offtake, resource upgrade etc etc ... GLA

(art is a troll, rob only interested in telling us when coal price falls - ignore them. this is a big and long term industry. we now have capacity in place to meet growing demand over coming years (not hours and days as some here seem obsess about) as governments begin spending $trillions on infrastructure programs)
