Those statements go against what PE are claiming has happened so why would they make them up. They put ncyt and the process and the test in good light.

Whistleblowing certainly has its place and should not be undermined but unfortunately some people and media can abuse the process. Not saying that is what has happened here but imo ncyt have answered all questions in one go by saying what they said.

We could all accuse them of malpractice just to get them to answer needless questions thereby indirectly giving us information that no one else in the market has.

I'm just saying, if it was significant we would have heard more by now.

The statement from ncyt and the several UKAS accreditations suggest everything is above board. The 3g has been submitted and based on that recent IFU version 5, there were lots of 100% in there.

Could just be scaremongering. It certainly seems to have worked. Can imagine if the PE editor went short the day before releasing it he would be well happy now.

Are ncyt aware of the article? Has it even been presented to the board? If they don't know about the article how can they say anything about it.

Just reread AK. Whistleblowers going to PE instead of any of the other large outlets is a red flag. If you're going to blow the whistle go we're it will be heard.

Both chose not to answer or deal with them, instead issuing brief statements. The trust said: 'Our pathology department is a world-leading facility which processes millions of tests every year – and as such, our skilled staff follow all procedures and protocols to the highest standards.'

Novacyt said: 'The genesig COVID-19 3G product has been subjected to a comprehensive and rigorous performance evaluation. The product was deemed highly sensitive in the analytical study, producing a limit of detection (LOD) of ? 1 copy/µl of SARS-CoV-2 whole viral genome RNA. This analytical study formed the basis of its CE mark.'

The statement added that the product 'has also been the subject of multiple, successful, external independent evaluations undertaken by travel testing providers as a part of their own validation processes prior to the product being used'. It also confirmed that data, the analytical validation and the clinical performance studies for the kit had been sent for the new CTDA authorisation, but said the product, 'along with hundreds of tests from other manufacturers is still awaiting approval'.

Several of our testing partners have been UKAS approved as mentioned in the above extract. The trust and ncyt themselves say nothing is untoward. If an investigation was underway then I'm sure we'd have to be aware of it.

Read the latest IFU from 31st Dec. It all looks pretty good to me.

B2, it takes experience to suggest that having multiple accounts may be hard work? Do you have to experience everything before casting an opinion.

Porky still frequents this board so it makes no sense to me why he would do that whilst keeping the 2nd user. I don't ramp this board to boost the SP. Could it be that DA demanded that his options not be granted until the FY21 results were out. In his mind the FY21 accounts are all GM as what ever changes DA has made would have likely had very little effect on the results. Now the results are out, I wouldn't be surprised to see an RNS stating the performance incentives for the next 3 years or so. Just a thought, logical and feasible.

Ak, so if it was all lies you don't think they would lie about a statement from ncyt. The statement is hardly condemning.

Most important, if ncyt came out and said this is untrue, by doing so they are providing us with information. What next, make up another story so they can address that and say it's untrue as well. Rinse repeat until we get to the correct answer. Best just to say nothing. Who are PE? They are a very small fish in a big ocean. No main media has picked up on it so I doubt it has legs. If I was PE I would be getting nervous about legal proceedings for slander.

I am not saying it is categorically incorrect but unless it grows legs then I back the bod with their strong grounds claims and their world class bioinformatics team.

If what PE said was true then what strong grounds is DA talking about. DHSC raised their concerns a year ago. Following receipt of said concerns we would take a look and review to see if DHSC have grounds. If there was any foul play then I can't see where the 'strong grounds' comment comes from. Now we have a fresh set of eyes on the job in DA. If there was any shread of deceit then DA could flag it and pin GM's name on it. By saying supporting the 'strong grounds' comment DA has just pinned his own name to it. Is it worth him losing his career over a dodgy GM contract. PE know as much as we do. Nothing.

Let's also not forget our world class bioinformatics division that is purposely there to prevent this kind of thing. Just my opinion but makes sense to me.

As for the constant Porky jibe, well that's just childish.

The belief wouldn't have changed but I can't help but think GM was unwilling to give anything to get this settled early. Pride maybe, afterall it was his deal, his sell. You have 2 bulls locking horns and things will get messy. A new guy enters the fray with a different perspective and things can start to move.

Are you saying it isn't feasible. Are you also expecting DA to come out and tell us anything different if it is only early stages in his discussions. Keep your cards close to your chest. You may not believe it's feasible but it is.

I'd love to know what Porky was getting out of having a 2nd user and using both to be pro ncyt. Sounds like a lot of work tbh.

It is feasible that DA looks to wrap up the dispute asap by willing to drop GM's demands. Offer a carrot so to speak. We've already effectively written off 70-80% of it so even a 50-50 split would result in a relatively rapid SP jump. That's not even the big effect. The weight of the dispute has been unbearable in FY21 so just to release the shackles regardless of the deal would be a major boost. Who knows what could come out of the dispute with the DHSC. We have a new face now. Did the relationship between GM and our biggest customer DHSC become irreparable. I think it may have. Well now we have a new captain, he can throw GM under the bus and look to close off the dispute with a forward looking contract where both parties come out on top. Based on how little we know, it's feasible.

I'm happy to say JW do one. He seems weak and is probably holding us back.

Chris, you don't know nothing is coming until April. I'd like to think we get a R&D update in Feb.

Take 5 minutes and watch all the world leaders deliver their speeches. Having notes to hand ensures you stay on point, make the most of your limited time ensuring you get across what you wanted to get across. It also shows you took the time to prepare and plan your interview. Why? Because it was important to come across well. It certainly wouldn't have helped doing a Boris Johnson with every question (if you know what I mean). The guys been here 3 months so still won't be totally comfortable with the detail of what happened before is tenure started.

I always found GM a little dull to be honest so I thought DA showed some personality and spoke quite professionally.

I understood it as DA would go into more detail around the Strategy in April. Before then I would expect at least an R&D update, a CTDA update. I am of the opinion that only Genesig is built into the guidance from March onwards so if we get more products approved or the 28 Feb deadline is deferred again then hopefully we will receive an upgrade to the guidance.

I find it unbelievable that we are a few pence from being valued at pre covid levels.

All of the expansion, new products, new customers, contracts, all those machines, IT-IS, the strategy. Worth absolutely nothing according to the market.

A further drop first thing would be delightful.

Jan 29 2020 (pre covid) SP was 17p which worked out at £12m mcap I believe. Add in the debt less cash and ncyt would have had a EV of about £15m.

2 years later ncyt has a EV of £28m

If the SP drops to £1.63 then we would have the same EV as 2 years ago as if Covid never happened.

Just digest that. I'm still trying. I'll be buying the dips where I can. The market has gone crazy.

I'm going nowhere until at least the below have been realised:

1. Dispute resolution
2. How the global diagnostic industry will be set up post pandemic
3. BJ is out and we get someone in who will build a British diagnostic industry so we are no longer reliant on China
4. DA's strategy implementated
5. We are told what is happening with that £100m.

Funny how we round the cash down from £102m to £100m. Most AIM companies would be thrilled with that rounding difference. £130m mcap. Oh my days.

Mid £1's is cash. For a profitable debt free business in a growing market to be valued less than cash then I'll be having some.
