The last update we had $400,000 of sales, the same RNS stated: "Further larger-scale sapphire sales events scheduled for conclusion by mid-December 2017" Using the words 'larger-scale' and the plural 'sales events' - confirming more than one, I would expect the next piece of news confirming $ figures of well into seven figures. They've extracted some really big stones from the pit, cut and polished these stones alone should be worth big money.

I'm inclined to give the BOD the benefit of the doubt on this occasion. The last quarterly update, company states: "Average grade of approximately 17.9 carats per tonne across 59,423 tonnes of mined and processed alluvial material" 1 lcm (loose cubic metre) of alluvial material weighs about 1.5 tonnes (I know this because I'm a Civil Engineer) so if the above statement is correct, we are recovering about 27 cts per lcm, previously the number of cts recovered was 17.5 per lcm, so there was certainly no fundamental issue with stone recovery of the mine. Also, with regards to the rehabilitation, we don't know if for example, they had a visit from an environmental inspector who may have requested the rehabilitation of some previously worked areas, something the company hadn't planned for this year.

According to the RNS's, the company has mined about 6.5 million cts and sold about 3.2 million cts, I think there must be a significant stockpile ready to be sold and normally you would expect to stockpile the better quality stones. I find it hard to imagine we have anything other than several million USD ready to be sold, even if we use the $2 to $3 per carat from previous sales of mid to higher quality stones as a guide. I wish they would let us know the size of the stockpile, it's almost as if they are trying to keep the share price down so certain individuals can benefit from a cheap placing and warrants.

Quindell, How many shares do you own now? Surely you have passed the threshold of declaring a shareholding by now.

I assume that the larger sales event in early November that the company refers to, will be an auction. Gemstones regularly raised millions of $ at each of these events. Is it possible that with all the stockpiling of high quality sapphires over the last 12 months or so, we could be about to the same? Anyway today is the beginning of November so not long to find out.

Well, as worse case scenario I would certainly expect the SP to at least double in the next 10 months otherwise the 65 million warrants issued 2 months ago (14 million to two board directors) will lapse. There can't be that many shares where you can confidently say that about the future SP!

Quindell, There's your 1.5m buy. Anyone making a cursory glance at the trades would think it was a sell.

Interesting. IIRC a few months ago Bonker predicted the breakout with Mysqar, which resulted in the share going from 1p to 6p in 1 week! Bodes well for here.

I reckon you'll find it a bit easier to buy now, somebody has just dumped 4 million shares. I think the wide spread and the drop this morning indicated that a sell order was in place.

So just three people (Quindell, Gorillacramp and myself) have a combined holding of nearly 10% of the company, blimey! When you also factor the directors holdings it's shows how tightly held this share is and how it will move when the time comes.

Or they could flog a load of the stones that are being stockpiled. With the commitment to supply Royal Touch with a minimum number of heated green sapphires per month, I suspect that the company has been building a sizable stockpile to ensure that they meet this obligation. It would be nice to know what the quantity of this minimum monthly supply is though.

Q2 produced 1.26 million carats. Q2 Sold 394,000 carats (163,000 + 231,000) So in simplistic terms we added 866,000 carats to the stockpile, all of which I'm sure are the better quality stones. If we attribute a conservative figure of $5 per carat, that that Q2 stockpile alone is our market cap. I've got feeling that when this share finally gets on the radar, this share will absolutely rocket

I think if you look at all their RNS's they're all very understated and just explain the facts without embellishing it with words like 'exciting'. It probably also explains why this share fly's so far under the radar, I mean £3m MC for all this? It's absurd!

Well it looks to me like they achieved everything they said they would for Q2, 1.26 million cts mined, cost per ct down and profitability in July 17. Larger profits will come from the recently appointed sight holders as they have signed a commitment to supply a minimum quantity of high quality stones. Interesting that are reviewing the viability of sales from the website. Plus we have jorc for another 90 million carats Happy days :)

On June 5th the company stated: "Planned final-stage ramp-up of production to 1.2 million carats per quarter progressing well and ahead of schedule for completion by end of June 2017 On schedule to achieve 2017 operational profitability targets following the completion of the current final phase of ramp-up work." So with less than 4 weeks to the end of that particular quarte, I can't imagine that they failed to meet their own objectives. Looking through previous updates, they have been issued between 3 and 7 weeks after the end of the quarter with about a month being average.

There isn't any bad news. Quarterly update will be in about 5 weeks, this recent price drop is the last drop before it starts to rise in anticipation of that news. It will probably stay here for this week and maybe next, before it begins to move back up again.

Two nice buys at the end.

I've been reading through some of the posts on this board and on 15th May "KnowledgeBank" (AKA Barry Gibb of Beaufort Securities) stated: 'In addition, and according to estimates provided by TMR (Transparency Market Research), Richland holds a ‘ready to sell’ sapphire stockpile of 326,000 carats of heated, cut and polished sapphires. At an average price of US$35.20 per carat, this stockpile is worth $11.4m or £8.9m (equivalent to 2.13p per share). This may explain the board of directors’ base valuation of the business at £7.14m (1.74p per share).' Has anybody on here been ably to verify this? If it's true and the company is regularly pulling out 80 carat sapphires, surely the SP should be many times the current MC or am I missing something. Also why has this not appeared in a RNS
