The point is that nobody knows the quality of the stock because the company have not communicated this to shareholders, Relephant assumes the remaining stock is poor quality probably because he sold up. Conversely it may be the best quality that they have been saving and has not been sold because you wouldn't sell your best stuff cheap, you'd wait for demand and price to pick up to gain a higher margin on your product.
Only 4 months ago, the new CEO (who's big name in the gem industry) traded $40,000 of historic fees for shares priced at more than double todays price, if the mine was a lemon, why would he do that?
