RE: So anyway…. What are we worth.30 Jun 2022 13:36
I'm of the firm opinion that the AVCT have no interest in the current SP, they have a clear strategy to window dress the business for a sale. I believe the notional date for this was prior to next summer when the cash was initially due to run out. In light of today's injection and subsequent milestone payments this date could be extended providing the company with additional opportunities to progress developments in-house, thereby adding further value.
AIM is clearly irrelevant to the end game, it's a poorly managed and regulated market populated by under researched rainbow chasers. AVCT will never be taken seriously whilst listed on AIM, only when it is listed on NASDAQ will it's value be appropriately researched and identified.
I believe however that NASDAQ may also be irrelevant, as once 'data rich' conclusions are available, a detailed prospectus will be prepared and appropriate agents will be engaged to market the company to both existing partners and new suitors alike.
The beauty of today's RNS is that it suggests that ongoing revenues are likely to come on stream that will prevent the BOD from being 'lowballed' by a speculative bid, which with cash running out they might be obliged to consider.
I suggest ignoring the short-term SP, it is almost irrelevant unless you are a trader, one day soon we will wake up with the share suspended and an RNS asking us to consider a price offer of £££ which the BOD recommend we accept
