If memory serves, Alastair was asked at the AGM Q&A about the possibility of shortening the dosing times in P1b due to the expected absence of typical DLT's

Can't remember his exact words but he confirmed that this was indeed a possibility and would be determined as part of the P1b trial design once MTD (or optimum dosing level) was identified at the conclusion of P1a

Most interesting thing for me about the Eli Lilly - Dice deal is that it is $2.4 billion for a pill to alleviate the effects of Psoriasis.

With the greatest respect, this isn't in the same league as a potential therapy for STS, a cancer, that can have a survival rate of as low as 18% and where naked doxorubicin is currently the (not especially effective) standard of care.

If AVA6k completes P1a and shows efficacy in P1b then the value of the PreCision platform will be unprecedented and will likely dwarf the likes of the Lilly-Dice deal. As Eliott Forster said...they know what they have.

Good point HarChris, AVA6k is a delivery system, not a novel drug and many posters on here (and certainly the market) can't grasp that the trial design is not following the standard path as detailed in the link.

This is further compounded by the usual clowns who repeatedly FUD this board with claims of delays and missed deadlines and comparisons to other irrelevant trials and potash mines etc etc showing their complete lack of understanding of the nuances of the PreCision platform and the incredible innovation it will provide.

It was made very clear at the AGM that AVCT is now entering a 'commercial phase' however they would not succumb to 'boosting' the SP

I think even the most negative would accept that the science is revolutionary and even at P1a has demonstrated significant commercial value to those who understand (ref Heights investment and over subscribed PI raise)

Therefore, if WYN et al are to be believed it would seem that it is now a straightforward race between further commercialisation and running out of funds.

It has been stated unequivocally by the BOD that they have funds to take AVA6k to completion of P1b AND whilst P1b is running, the company has confirmed that it will produce complete, peer reviewed, findings from P1a which they will then promote to 'mainstream media'

If the results keep coming and exceeding expectations as they have to date, raising funds will absolutely not be a problem regardless of where they are in the development cycle.

The results so far have almost certainly removed any difficulty AVCT will find in raising additional funding from specialist lenders should they need it (to reiterate, they have confirmed they don't need it currently)

The market on the other hand, doesn't understand the science and doesn't have the money, thick as mince.

No DLT's = More cohorts required to find MTD = Extra time needed = Higher concentrations of dox in tumour = More likely to be efficacious = Better outcomes for patients = Higher SP
