If Bill Tap is sponsoring the ODD/accelerated approval I would suggest this will happen much quicker than if we are reliant on the pedestrian numpties at the MHRA, who did us no favours with the LFT

Also worth pausing to remind ourselves that C6 was the first cohort that included patients where dox is the standard of care. All previous cohorts were 'dox naiive' patients and deliberately selected as such because P1a was only seeking to identify safety and tolerability.

The first patient where AVA6k/dox might actually help them and we receive today's brilliant RNS.

Also worth reminding ourselves that as the trial progresses we continue to see very favourable comparisons with the PK/Mouse data...if that continues then a paradigm shift would be an understatement

AVCT has faced criticism from some quarters for loading the business with expensive senior execs. However, as the 'end-game' comes into sight, I suspect having the likes of EF, Shaun Chilton & the new CBO at the negotiating table will reap benefits for us all

I've suggested before that the reason this share isn't sat significantly higher is because so few people actually fully understand the opportunity.

AIM is predominantly a retail platform and only a relatively small roster of retail investors understand the science at AVCT. Their cumulative ability to move the SP is limited, I've said before that I believe that outside of the Company, probably less than 30-50 people actually understand the science and hence the opportunity

My own experience is indicative. As a holder of several years standing I have built a network of family/friends/associates that have invested in AVCT based on my recommendation. This morning my phone has been on fire with requests to explain the significance of this morning RNS and subsequent SP increase. Frankly, these are LTH's that do not fully understand their own investment.

My point, is that the current SP provides only a very limited barometer of what is going on at AVCT.

This morning's incredible RNS is so far disconnected from £1.20 that it is almost laughable. True value will only be realised once institutions and/or BP believe they have seen enough empirical evidence to make their move.

That moment is now very close IMO

From memory, AS/FMcL/Andrew Saunders made it clear that they would prefer to find a MTD as opposed to a BED.

My understanding for this was MTD was a clearly defined dose level where pre-defined parameters within the trial design were met. This would effectively provide a more robust data set against which peer review could assess the effectiveness of AVA/6k and the Pre/Cision platform.

A BED on the other hand, would involve some level of estimation/extrapolation which could be scientifically inferior to a clearly identified MTD

At the AGM Q&A, AS & EF made it quite clear that they wanted to fully complete and peer review P1a before publishing. The intimation was that a complete, fully reviewed, data set would be infinitely more valuable in the long run than 'boosting' early/incomplete/expected data.

Frustrating though it is, I think we have to trust this approach and agree that the longer this takes, the more complete the data set, the more valuable the platform.

I do hope we get an interim update soon however, if only to understand the current trial status.

For the umpteenth time comparing AVCT with drug developers such as Arrowhead and their pipeline is misleading because AVA6k and the Pre/Cision platform is NOT, repeat NOT a novel drug/therapy.

It is an incredibly specific (thus far unique) delivery system that uses FAPa to cleave existing chemotherapies into the TMA, thereby reducing systemic toxicities and hopefully (this is the bit we are waiting for) delivering significantly improved patient outcomes via much improved efficacy.

Important to stop comparing AVCT to novel drug trials/potash miners etc etc etc
