There should be no reason why we wont get the LP eventually. Except for corruption. Mongolia quote literally sandwiched in between two of the most corrupt (and powerful enough to make it count) countries on planet earth. They will surely have agents active in Mongolia and I’ll be amazed if there are any serious consequences for Petro China.

No one knows if/when this LP will arrive, given all the false promises and timeframes that have previously been broken. All we do know is that IF it does arrive, the SP should very handsomely rerate.

If it’s not here by end of April, the mood on this board will sour rapidly. iamrich has already said he expects LP early April so I’d imagine even the serial rampers will become despondent if April comes and goes with no LP news.

But over the longer term, it is the fundamentals that shine through. In our case, the LP. No amount of deramping would stop the SP heading north rapidly if it does eventually arrive.

Shares that would’ve cost £150,000 just over a year ago would now cost just £6,300…

Dozzawba - agree re MB. I had to smile at Hamm’s post in December when he said the presentation was just so he could raise more cash. MB denied it at the time but Hamm was spot on.

Interesting that other posters who shot me down are now also getting a bit concerned. Something just smells a bit fishy, the constant delays are incredible. Months just pass by with no real news. I mean, what is MB doing other than perhaps sending email chasers to the MG?!

I also do not understand why central government are giving the local government any choice at all...why another meeting? Just override them. To say to them "you've got another chance to say yes, and if you don't, we'll override you anyway" seems strange.

Mani - I could well be wrong, but I reckon RM has a plan and is executing it. The problem is, we don't know what that plan is.

As for takeovers, I'd rather let my shares go to 0p than accept some low offer.

I’ve always said it was incredibly cheeky to be offering (asking) Petro Matad to find more oil, when they’ve already found some and aren’t being allowed to get it out of the ground.

It’s a bit like me asking someone to build me a house, not paying them and then asking would they mind digging in some new foundations for another house build!

We are nearly in April. I am still hopeful, but that hope subsides by the day.

Just before the December presentation, you were HIGHLY CRITICAL of all things MATD, including MB. Then you see the presentation and completely change. Yet, the hard facts are that we still do not have the LP.

Destiny Pharma paid £570m if it passes P3, plus double digit royalties.

oj17 - Destiny Pharma (which I’m no expert on, so please correct if wrong) recently had knockout P2 results. They have JV’d with a bit of a lesser known US pharma who are I understand funding the entire P3 (about £30m). However, they insisted Destiny do a raise to secure funding for the coming years and it was done at a considerable discount, annoying the hopeful shareholders. The market hasn’t looked too favourably on it and the shares have drifted lower than the raise price.
In summary, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that even in a JV we might still be required to pay our way, as it were, albeit for now our cash position is better than Destiny’s was.

Re the cash position and our share price, it does seem that we are being valued at basically nothing. Unless of course the market is also concerned that a cash raise might be coming.

I once said just prior to P3 results that this would be £10 or 10p on a pass or fail. I now see this as 0p or a few pounds.

This poster is a bad piece of work. I’d like to think people can see from my posting history that I’m a genuine investor who likes to do his bit. MATD was a relatively small holding for me that started out as a punt but has become a bit larger. Had the AGM been in the UK, I’d have attended and taken detailed notes.

FWIW, the likes of master82 are exactly the type we want on this board.
