Having asked this question of several of the board's most esteemed contributors and still received no answer, I have to conclude that there are no other appropriate platforms - free or otherwise - and that our eggs really are in one basket.

Which is fine - as long as NIH really is interested in SNG and sees a place for it. If it does then it must add us to Strive as one of the first candidates as no other trialed drug has such data for the most at-risk patients. Long as they like the post-hoc and care about saving the eextra lives that SOC can't save - we should be sound.

Hi Kevin you're the second person today to take MrC at his word. The thread title is a parody ramp. It's mildly amusing as it follows on from Doc83 suggesting £5 a share for a TO (with lots of qualifications)

Fruits I've asked this question many times and never received an answer. Which other free platform trials are there - given Recovery is no longer a possibilty and we were already passed over by EMA ?

I will concede this though. You NEVER said that LC was a given. Please accept this as my full and final apology and restitution. I was confused by the dozens of positive comments you made about the good things that would accrue if the LC data come through - but it was a terrible slur.

My point remains that we have nothing to present for Covid or Astma. We can be involved at a high level in the discussions surrounding them both (although not including TW as he's not there for Synairgen according to Tommy ) We can even lead discussions ( although not TW as he's not there ... etc...etc)

Maybe have a word with your acolyte tho - as she certainly took your post to mean Synairgen were presenting on COPD and has gone all in again. .

Oh dear - this is getting messy. And the programme is huge. I've seen the page you quote Ghia - but can't see where TW or PM are mentioned at all.
Perhaps Tommy - as the "finder" of this information -you can post page numbers to help clarify.

We are expecting /hoping for STRIVE to be announced at exactly the time of the US conference which RM is attending. Pretty obvious what bigger fish to fry alluded to. Not suprrised you missed it but surprised it was too subtle for FnV

This is what i meant by my bigger fish to fry comment yesterday. It's a long shot of course to hope that he's going to announce anything major in this small slot at a non Covid conference - but it does correspond to the possible timescale for the STRIVE launch and you wouldn't ordinarily expect RM to be representing the company at such a conference. It should really be CSO level and RM is not familiar enough with the deep science - as we've seen before. But he's not on a panel so he will be making a speech / presentation of some kind. Only 2 others are listed under Tharepeutics and they're disparate enough that they can't be combined in any way.
We knew what was coming at ATS as the company RNSed it ahead of the event and used social media to push this home.
My overall feeling is that these are both industry events the company should be at as a matter of routine, but it does make September even more interesting.

Synairgen was not founded over 50 years ago. It was 2003 Mani. And that's long enough frankly. And reposting the nebulous (haha !) mission statement from the homepage does not equate to one line of science about COPD or Asthma. We know the COPD story though - it was a bust. Do you think anyone is likely to want to tell that tale to the the world. ?

What would you like them to include in the presentation Mani ? That's the question. You keep mentioning COPD and Asthma but we have nothing to base a presentation on for anything except our Covid trials

sorry deleted the penultimate point which was to say that you do the same thing with Long Covid too - taking it as a given - as if it's already a win - when the company really doesn't know if the signal will the strong enough and we have no idea.

Well if you're on the subject then - what exactly might Tom Wilkinson ( if he gets the gig ) have to say about the company's COPD or Asthma research or trials ? Seriously Mani - you add them into the debate at every opportunity at the moment and I wonder what it is that you know that I've missed on this ? Can anyone from Synairgen stand up and make a presentation on either of these topics, except in a purely hypothethe company is hoping for a signal from any of its trials but we just don't know if the data will be strong enough.
