Size82 just a very quick one on this. You're absolutely right. If the post-hoc showed that the drug works for exactly the people who are still dying - and on top of SoC - that is tremendously encouraging - and because of the mechanism of SNG - it is future proof against any and all future variant - and/or other respiratory diseases that end up in ICU.
Against this is the actual landscape that faces Synairgen in relation to Covid - with new av drugs about to be approved outside hosptal - or in mid trial - with bivalent vaccine boosters that will broaden protection just approved - with MRNA technology about to be trialed against dozens of infectious diseases and with a platform trial that will most likely need 1000 trialists at a time of dwindling hospitalisations.

It's a balance somewhere between the two - SNG has almost limitless potential - but can it get onto the trial that will start to unlock the doors. That's why many say they believe in the drug but not the company now. Most of us do believe this would be in hospitals all over the world if Synairgen had partnered or sold after SG016

gunto I haven't had a go at anyone on reddit unless they come here and lecture us or suggest they have extra knowledge that isn't shared here for one reason or another or threaten to remove themselves from this place. Tommy is constantly berating the quality of this board and he introduces Reddit himself when he does this. You do not - and your posts are very balanced.
I had a hand in establishing the Reddit group and I've always been appreciative of the decent research that comes from there - but Reddit members also claimed they had access to priviledged infromation before Sprinter that told them - and then us - that the trial had succeeded. that the signals from the company could be taken as a guarantee. You may not remember this but it occurred over months and months and it did affect people's sense that Sprinter could not fail.

There are no " genuine investors" you pompou.s fool. There are only investors - and Kevin is most certainly an investor. He rarely contributes to this board and yes of late his perspective on the share and the company has changed, but that's because he has lost faith in the company - as many on here have. His previous contributions entitle him to say whatever he wants - and you don't get to control any of that. If it hurts then run back behind your Reddit firewall.

That's not what i said Tommy - I pointed out and provided evidence of the change from "a company developing SNG for Covid " to "a company developing SNG for respiratory diseases including Covid.
If you couldn't spot the subtle change I can only point it out and hope to educate

Yes it was a little clumsy Tommy, but black fungus is not getting us onto a covid trial, COPD is not getting us onto a covid trial - Asthma etc etc.
They will possibly become relevant for the eventual purchaser.

Strive is all that matters. Patience needed until we know if we're on it. All the other stuff - conferences and presentations and nblack lung stuff is fluff. Important fluff - which those who understand the science of it can have fun with - but fluff. You might be here for COPD and Asthma but I came in for Covid - and so did Polygon and almost every other investor large or small - and that is still the game.
If we're not on Strive and they don't offer any further evidence of engagement elsewhere then the sp will probably find a new low somewhere in the teens. If RM's "winter" is December and not Feb 28th then the sp might stay in that region - but the world will keep turning. New outpatient drugs approved for sure in the next month or 2 - the first strive candidates heading towards completion and an unknowable pandemic. There should be more Covid patients in hospitals - but the new Omicron boosters could put a big dent in potential trialists - even in winter.

It matters not a jot to us if the sp drops from here so that's not an issue. A drowning man doesn't care about the depth of water once he's over his head. But we're underwater - but not a drowning man, so that's a poor analogy. Maybe we're the Thai football team waiting in the cold and dark for our rescuers to arrive and guide us out into the light.

We have a pinch punch trophy in our house. A small but weighty silver cup with coloured ribbons on the handles to denote the monthly victories, My side has one or two limp fading penants - but Mrs D's is positively festooned. I'm usually up first but rule 3 says you can't wake someone up to claim victory - and by the time the good lady wafts down the stairs I've completely forgotten the whole thing.

Agree with Wigster that it's unlikely we'll have earth shattering news from any of the conferences, and agree with Ghia that embargo is unlikely to be the reason for the missing title - but we know news is coming soon anyway so it doesn't really matter.
