I don't know where you've got the idea that we have to have share certificates. It's just one option. Have you not spoken to your broker?

The update is absolutely fine.

People need to remember that just because the Tally info got brought across by one person who found it today, it doesn't mean it's common knowledge to everyone. It's common knowledge to early birds on this forum. But there are lots of shareholders not on here, not watching at the time, or without access to internet at this time or at all, who would not know these things.

The shareholding contingent of LION does not just comprise people on LSE.

Again, I am happy with what I've been told. Bit by bit it's coming along and I wouldn't necessarily expect CP to reveal all now, in one day. It's early days for Tally too and we may see the website develop further and there'll be more updates. I expect a progressive release of info as we move along. We've got our AGM date as well, which is good.

But I liked the addition of the pre-AGM shareholder meeting in London for those who can't get to Guernsey.

As regards why they didn't update us on discussions with landowners throughout the year, maybe the conclusion has only just been recently resolved, as a group? And they figured that with Finland nearing its completed stage this year they'd just update altogether in one go?

I agree that it's very CP to leave everything until the last gasp but as long as we have a mining update now it's a weight off my mind. At times I thought the mines had just disappeared!

Actually a lot has happened if you take into account negotiations with the Indian landowners and getting those leases, which also take time. It's good progress in a difficult climate. As far as Finland is concerned they've done everything they set out to do even despite the setbacks. The fact that management are visiting next week is a bonus.

And do we really need updates to inform us on the ill health of employees? There would have been people rioting on here over 'what a waste of money pointless RNS' had that happened.

I think it was a realistic update. Take the Finland statement:

"In Finland, the licence application process continues with regard to a 5,000 - 7,000 tonne bulk sample being taken at Kuikka and processed, whilst concurrently application is progressing for small scale underground mining of the high grade deposit at Kuikka. In relation to the 200 tonnes of gold ore approved for equipment testing use, after overcoming some personal health issues encountered by the two team leaders, Kalevala is now in the process of melting and pouring the gold concentrate at their facility near Joensuu and members of the Lionsgold team are visiting next week to observe the process and discuss plans for 2019."

This is just what LION set out to do in 2018 with Finland. I even remember bulk tonnage and pouring being referenced earlier in the year. If they are going to visit/discuss plans with the Finnish team, I see it as a bonus, because as that stage can be ticked off the list as complete, and the discussions around planning can happen this year, rather than next year.

There's no major fireworks in this RNS, but it is solid imo.

Also take into account the length of time to get lease agreements. Many mines literally take years to get off the ground. So imo they've actually made decent progress in India, to say they've had to deal with 600 landowners.

600. Not 6. Not 60. 600 individuals all clamouring and demanding their say. It's a total pain is mining but that's how it is. :/

I think ourt Fintech/Goldbloc side is probably much more pertinent for most here. The mines were never really the focus.

Probably to the people they've had to negotiate with, yes. The mine was contentious for some.

I have been in my job for 16 years but before then I was in and out of jobs before getting settled. It's always a bit nerve wracking starting anywhere afresh.

In fairness to gazza, he has held his hands up and fair play to him for that. I think it was just a case of him not fully knowing and we should be here to help each other learn.

There is always one on a bb who has to starts up about insider info. Happens everywhere. I don't think everyone understands what it really entails.

Insider info is that which will materially affect a share price movement.

You cannot affect the price on a suspended share and especially not with a holding notice.

If you took notice, bigmj actually didn't give details of his meeting with CP, despite requests. He kept that private and I don't blame him though he did say h would put the bb concerns to CP.

You'll be okay then Jenni, just sit tight. Hopefully we should be back in Q1 sometime - when the shares should become active on your account again. HL should inform you of when this will happen. LION will file a readmission notice that should trigger the system automatically. This is (said to be) planned for December after the AGM.

The HL ISA people have until December to choose what to do with their shares and if they haven't contacted the broker by then HL will move the shares into the Fund account automatically, for free.

I think this forum is staying open as several of us have contacted LSE but apparently there's a Facebook group too. I hope everything will be okay. Bigmj's major holding notice as of last night was, I'm sure, welcomed by most of us.

This is where LION said they will release further updates (don't rely on here or RNS alerts, they probably won't register there now we are cancelled) but they're putting updates here via RNS Reach, apparently. You should have received a message form HL when you log in informing you of your options. If your shares are in an ISA, let HL know what option you want to go for and they'll either move them to a HL Fund Account for free or you'll have to pay for certificates. If your shares are in a SIPP they'll stay there until relist. If your shares are in a Fund Account with HL you don't need to do anything, unless you want a certificate.

Yeah, I mean a lot of folks felt that the Tencent association was surety enough but it just goes to show that you cannot get complacent. I'd love for the FCA to conduct a thorough investigation across all of AIM; companies, mms, brokers, syndicates, the lot. But it'll never happen. It's like the wilderness back here and the few companies that make it out and onto better things are the lucky ones. That's what I'm here for, but like anything else it's a gamble.

Regarding the company filing I genuinely assumed LION had moved into those premises at Salisbury House when they filed their last move to that address in August (also when they filed the XGB trademark). But if they were only using a PO Box number in the House to collect mail - but are now installed physically in that office space there - that looks to me to be a positive sign.
