RE: NOT CONVINCED6 Nov 2018 08:00
To balance all this, although company comms to us have been pretty diabolical all year, it looks as if a great deal of work has been going on behind the scenes. Parry hasn't been sat there twiddling his thumbs.
It's absolutely in his interest as a businessman and a family man to make this work. He's going to lose so much more than his shirt if this bombs due to poor management. He will be finished, literally. He'll never work in the City again except in a backstreet pizza parlour.
I don't think filing trademarks comes fro free so and why do that as late as August in they're not planning to follow through with it? Why hire a London advertising agency if you are not serious?
No matter the venting on here I'm keeping a balance, until such a time we get clear signals all is lost because atm it's not lost imo.
It's annoying people (rightly so) that the lack of comms and last minute lil stuff continues to plague this company. But we should get chance to have a say at the AGM. To my mind, where Parry falls down is his laid back nature (too laid back at times) and utter lack of understanding of the jumpiness of AIM investors. In truth he probably thinks most people are traders, and in truth he'd be correct. He's seen LION go from nothing to 6p to 2.65p on the back of relentless trading. Shareholders, real investors, never stand a chance in this environment.
This is why I think in CP's eyes only the top shareholders get treated well and even they are probably in the dark most of the time.
But he still loses like we do if this goes south and atm this isn't a company going bust or having its books looked at (MYSQ).
