Hi Phil, as much as I would have loved to attend, the practicalities of getting by backside up from a shipwreck half way between Anglesey and Ireland and down to London in a few hours may be a little challenging, I would hope anyone attending will ask some very searching questions about this darling company of ours, a shining light on the AIM market that we all love and cherish, and Clive ............. what can we ask of Clive, I would like to start sending him birthday cards and Christmas cards ...... I love that guy 8-))

As I said some time back ......... it will take 12 months for the report to come back, (Its been a few months now) none of the planning applications have been submitted yet, very easy check to make on the the Gwynedd gov website, these thing take time, the Gold is there, ALBA are going to have to jump through very many hoops before they are allowed to touch that place in any meaningful way, everyone involved NRW etc is extremely aware of what caused the Mawddach pollution disaster of 1984 ............. and for the lazy/cant be bothered/rose tinted brigade .. it was a Gold mine, give ALBA time and a lot of good luck, we will produce Welsh Gold, Quantity?
elir, I dont think goodluck understands or wants to understand the process involved, getting a mine into working production, if he/she did some research on the steps maybe they would understand ............ Exploration, Environmental and social impact assessments, Scoping studies, Preliminary economic assessment, Pre-feasibility study, Feasibility study, Definitive/bankable feasibility study, as well as all the permissions, planning/dewatering etc and after the exploration stage there is Mine design and project development, Financing, Construction, Mine production and a gradual ramp up to full-scale output, Mine closure and land reclamation plans, its not a 5 minute job, you cant just pile in there and start production the dump all your carp everywhere, Goodluck/everyone please read this, as elir says it can take years, https://www.ig.com/uk/news-and-trade-ideas/commodities-news/lifecycle-of-a-mine--a-step-by-step-guide-to-mining-commodities-180530 .............. and stop posting rubbish
Once again, dont take my word for it, go and have a look yourself, just over 2hrs from Birmingham and Manchester and less than 5 from London there is easy parking just off the A496, walk across the road and up the hill, its your money PS:- Well worth a short break here the area is stunning
Fishfaced, no there was no security, you could walk around, Goodluck, I dont think the site requires Parker Schnabels 1000yds/hour trommel, however it will need a serious tidy up and investment, this place is not going to be producing anything for quite a while 8-((
Had a nice wander around the Bontddu site and up over the top to the waste tips, today in a wet and windy Wales (Couldnt even see the Mawddach) I would recommend anyone thinking of putting serious money in here, go and have a look at ALBAs operations yourself, ..... Brief description:- An overgrown, deserted scrap yard.
And on it marches, I was fully expecting this back down into the late $80s, early $90s .......$107.32 +1.10 +1.04%, divi news coming up here very soon !!!! wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend

elir, I am glad you understand that ALBA do not have a "Free ride" with GROC, when GROC needs to grow, it will either be through equity or debt, issue of equity and ALBA doesnt have the same slice of the pie, unless it stumps up the cash and debt, well that speaks for itself, GROC will be worth less and hence ALBAs slice will be worth less, but GROC will need the cash to grow and progress
