I simply posted up the data that was on the ADVFN website, only two trades did I say “assume sells”, which is a realistic assumption given how close to the bid the traded at.

You are full of crap, the NMS doesn’t restrict trades, and if there is a buyer lined up they can be sold above the bid, it would take much larger trades for them to be off loaded below bid.

Why attacking all the time, what’s up, can’t you handle an alternative point of view.

YU are not a growth stock, the market has got it right IMO, they made decent profits due to a black swan event, it’s not sustainable.

The trades I posted are there for all to see on the ADVFN website, just go to Trades, search YU, then change the date to the 15th August.

Sparky has previously posted that trades were buys because he’d -jacked dummy trades, I challenged that and said it doesn’t prove the type of trade as different platforms / brokers will have different true bid and ask prices and the only way to prove it would be to actually make a buy trade, which he didn’t do. Now he’s saying you will never know unless you are the actual buyer / seller.

The guys so full of hypocritical and false info it’s unbelievable. Can’t stand anyone pisting up data he doesn’t like even if it is true.

Right, I listed the trades and what ADVFN / the market had automatically allocated the trades as sells, two large trades were way below the mid price and a lot closer to the bid price so one can only assume they were sell trades. The only trade that was bang on the mid price and thus allocated to be an unknown buy or sell trade.

So I’m not a liar. Simply posting up the facts that are out there.

16,500 at 1503.784p Time 12:00 was below mid price, assume a sell

15,000 at 1500p Time 12:00 was also below mid price, assume a sell

10,000 at 1505p Time 12:29 was below mid price booked as a sell

10,000 at 1515p Time !5:26 was below mid price booked as a sell

9,500 at 1525p Time 16:15 was at the mid price, unknown

20,000 at 1513p Time 17:15 (after close) was below mid price and booked as a sell

Fair points, BK could spit his dummy out and delist, I just don’t see it personally.

We are in the summer lulls so most stocks aren’t doing much, the macros generally aren’t helping either.

Don’t quite understand why you are concerned, are you thinking BK taking this private?, if so why would he do that, no financial benefit to him and that’s all he is interested in IMO. If PE come in and make an offer which includes delisting then that would be ar a premium.

You say in your view this is worth £20 at least, whilst I can see the bull case to support that but IMO I doubt this will hit £20 (there are obviously caveats to that - another energy crisis, a mega acquisition or BB), so why would you be thinking BK may take this private?.

As for Trustpilot, folks can form their own opinion, but IMO the more you pay the better the review scores.

Someone needs to take off his rose tinted glasses, don’t understand tbh. he doesn’t even hold any shares in YU, or anything else for that matter but proclaims to be an expert and in his own words nobody knows more about Ukraine, Russia and the Middle East than him!.

Don’t know why the constant comparison with TEP, they have completely different business models and TEP is a genuine multi utility and household services company not just a comp any that buys and sells gas and electricity to a distinct sector. IMO they are not comparable, YU should be compared to British Gas business energy supplier.

Can keep ranting about TEP but it won’t change what the market thinks YU should be valued at, BK needs to change their views but so far all his done is moan like a spoilt child.

As Mr Goldsmith has said, this is unlikely to see £20 and he like most sees that this is not a growth stock anymore, unfortunately someone wearing rose tinted glasses can’t see that.

FY 25 consensus forecasts:

Eps growth only +0.95%

Rev growth +11% but reduced from +15%

Consensus forecast for FY25 revenue has been reduced from £738m down to £721m.Their own forecast / target was £730m to £760m (mid £745m). So consensus growth in FY25 income now reduced to c 11% from over 15%. FY26 income forecast also reduced by £19m. But eps consensus unchanged which seems odd, time will tell.

Doesn’t scream to me that this deserves a double digit rating. Most can see that their growth has collapsed , from their eps of +547% to now only +0.95%. That aside there’s the overall issue around this being an illiquid AIM stock that couldn’t turn a profit prior to the energy crisis kicking in, not to mention, but I will, it’s historical accounting issues, the LSE fine, the lack of transparency (did they tell the market that their revenue will miss their forecasts, no they didn’t)…and a CEO that constantly makes false promises and does nothing but tell the market they are wrong and he is right, not a good PR strategy is it.

Stating the chuffing obvious but missing the fact that YU are not the only energy providers in the UK, there is a thing called competition and British Gas clearly are eating Bobby’s lunch, their adj EBITDA for business energy supply increased 15 fold, what was YU’s growth in adjusted EBITDA, oh yeah it was +11%.

Someone clearly doesn’t know Trustpilots business model, he thinks they allow businesses to use their services for free, jeez, talk about naive, Trustpilot is a listed business for profit, not a charity. The more you pay them the more they filter out unwanted/ negative reviews, to get the score their client is happy with.

As for water, from what I’ve researched they have no customers and thus zero income, so wouldn’t be surprised if they pull the plug (no pun intended!).

Personally I think there are greater risks to value here than going private.

Earnings are only forecast to grow 1% this FY, IMO it got ahead of itself because thought the {547% eps growth was sustainable, hence some ridiculous estimates on this thread of £100 a share in a few years. Never going to happen given wholesale energy is highly unlikely to see such a black swan event again for some years .

This is more likely to head towards £14 and lower rather than £20+, all IMO naturally. The caveat being that a small buyback (£10m or so) or acquisition could give this some upward momentum for a while, but there could also trend looks to be reversing.

TEP eps growth this FY is forecast to be +7%, consensus for YU is only +1% eps growth this FY. TEP earnings growth seven times greater!.

TEP is a quality business with a unique business model - unlike YU. Its revenue may have fallen but its profits are still growing . The key being that the BoD are transparent, no dodgy accounting, no lies or hiding the truth Wem their income doesn’t hit forecasts unlike YU. Don’t recall they’ve ever been fined by the stock exchange either.

Comparisons with TEP is completely meaningless.

All UK suppliers should be worried, why exclude YU?, they have zero barriers to entry. Given that CNA have decided to prioritise on supplying SME’s, which is not surprising given the lack of price capping thus higher margin, then why wouldn’t Tesla at some point do exactly the same.

Bobby could sell but very much doubt that Musk would want to buy, all IMO.

TEP is rated as it is because it’s a pure multi utility operator, YU are an AIM listed energy supplier only, with a chequered past, they simply buy and sell energy.
