Growth has slowed because energy has reduced , particularly gas which is 8 times lower now than its peak . Some folks seem to think that YU have a moat, well they don’t, even British Gas business supply growth is outpacing YU.
The only sustained growth seems to be in smart metering but again they aren’t the only business serving that sector and as Trst the contribution to the groups profits is minimal.
As for no need for anything radical, there won’t be anything radical and the market seems to have finally come to the conclusion that their distributable cash for anything “radical” is not available, no buyback, no acquisitions yet constant boasting of how much net cash they have, the market doesn’t believe, finally.
As for NG and SNN quoting £100 a share, complete fantasy,
