The last two days of trading and the increase in price has been purely on the back of the Stocko NAPS, nothing more. It’s not been as a consequence of anything material, it’s not IMO a sentiment shift, look at the chart over the past two years or so, it’s basically traded in a range and gone sideways.

The shift in sentiment will only arise IMO based on what the business says and what they achieve in terms of earnings growth. Which is forecast to be only +6%, they would need to issue a beat, or introduce a decent buyback, or notify the market of a potential inorganic acquisition…….but on the two latter points they’ve had sufficient time to do just that but so far nothing. It has to be more than just talk.

You do seem to be incapable of accepting facts, why is that?.

It’s a positive for some pis that YU has been picked along with 19 other stocks in the 2026 NAPS, I’ve simply posted that the way they are picked is based purely on historic metrics, so lazy folks just buy without actually researching the stocks that have been selected. It’s a free country, but are you saying that VOD is a stock you’d purchase?, or how about KMK, there are a lot within the NAPS selection that I definitely wouldn’t invest in. Not to mention your love of your life YU, which I am trading but defo not a long term investment.

It’s purely data (historic) driven with zero consideration of what may happen in the future. Okay their NAP return last year was excellent, their 12 Christmas stocks for the year 2025 only returned -0.3% .

This has peaked, unless they put their money where Bobby boys mouth is and buy some shares then the market won’t follow. If there is peace in Ukraine then this could drop like a stone.

UK gas spot price making a new 52w low at 74p. The next support looks like 55p, but that would be some decline so doubtful IMO. But its trend is downwards.

Three years ago it peaked at about 640p, wow, no wonder YU turned from loss making to significant growth in earnings. Once their higher contract income rolls over, what then?, we will definitely not see a sp of £100 thats for certain.

UK natural gas futures fell to about 76.5 pence per therm, the lowest since July 2024, following a drop in European prices and improved sentiment around potential peace talks in the Russia-Ukraine war. US-Ukraine discussions in Geneva signaled progress, and a deal could shift global energy flows.

UK gas fell over 3.5% yesterday and European gas is at a 18 month low, on the back of a possible peace deal with Ukraine / Russia.

You really can’t see beyond YU can you?.

Nvdia is impacting how the US market reacts, hiw the US market reacts is reflected in the UK, Nvdia has for the time being become a macro bellweather, just look at how the markets have reacted.

As for YU supplying data centres, post up some evidence to support that BS, just like your false statement about YU supplying all the UK supermarkets - which is 100% bull.

Guess the theoretical drop will very much depend market reaction to Nvidia results after market close this evening, by the looks of things it’s a macro event now rather than sector / company specific.

No sign of the new CFO here putting his hands in his pocket to buy, despite his CEO saying this is undervalued. And not forgetting that NewGacky and ShareNicelyNow think it’s worth £100, Sparky has even posted £200!, PMSL.

The IEA report "Gas 2025" makes interesting reading. They are forecasting that lower gas prices are on the horizon after a surge of approvals for new liquefied natural gas projects this year compounded forecasts of a looming global supply glut.

Centrica / British Gas got the Tomato customers via SoLR.

Wonder if YU volunteered to take them, or if they did then clearly Ofgem thought for whatever reason that British Gas was the preferred choice.

It's my understanding that only suppliers that volunteer to be a SoLR can be selected as the final choice.

That puts YU in an awkward situation as they only want business customers not domestic as well, so not likely to volunteer if there are domestic customers - so their only realistic avenue to generate inorganic growth would be to take over a suppliers business book or acquire a business only energy supplier.

Not happened so far despite them constantly saying they are looking into acquisitions.

So Cavendish reckon £26 by 2027, some folks on here reckoned £100 (pmsl - where are they now?). But clearly the market doesn’t believe, Bobby moans how cheap this is but the business hasn’t introduced any meaningful buyback programme, so if they aren’t buying why should anyone else. They keep posting up they are looking for inorganic growth opportunities but once again nothing- show the market the cash is distributable and not just show, do something positive with it for fcuk sake!, or perhaps theres just not enough cash!!!!.

Perhaps the phasing of orders (Transport & Smart Tech) to NA wasn’t due to the tariffs (and stockpiling in H1 thus the increased sales), although like yourself I’d assume it was, but who knows we are speculating.

Either way they said at the interims that they expected sales in NA construction & other industries would pick up in H2, well it was down in Q3 despite being up in EMEA.

In short I still believe part of the reason for the market reaction was down to poor NA sales.

Don’t disagree with your points. As nobody can predict the future let’s see how it goes for ReZorce.

Do believe that ReZorce did attract investors one way or another into ZTF, those who can’t resist a blue sky type of product and those that could see that upon cessation in terms of development that the c £4m pa losses (from memory so apologies if it wasn’t) would go straight to the bottom line of ZTF.

Was just pointing out what IMO could have been the reason for the negative response to the update - namely the reduction in sales North America and gifting ReZorce away to third parties.

What’s your view on why this has sold off?

Was it also due to being ramped too much and getting ahead of itself?

Just re-read their interims and they did state that they expected to deliver full year underlying pbt ahead of current market expectations (which for pbt was £19.4m). Current consensus is £20.5m for adjusted pbt and separately disclosed items. As posted what disclosed items are they referring to?. Are they excluding some costs from the P&L to elevate pbt or am I thinking too much!.

As for ReZorce, given there is no requirement to invest substantial capital in forestry assets gives it the edge in terms of a significant market disrupter. IMO a fair few would have been inspired to invest here in the hope that ReZorce would at some point have enhanced significantly their future earnings, now it appears that’s never going to happen.

As an aside I was always dubious when a certain well known pi started to pump the stick, so perhaps this did get ahead of itself despite appearing still to be rated fairly cheaply on a PE of c 12x.
