If cash generating position confirmed in this months scheduled update plus positive outlook surely this gets a rerate because we are still sitting at the beaten down SP seen after the downbeat update in Feb 2024. Things have changed quite a bit since then !

Nice to see a bit of interest here today backed up by a £20k buy at a premium at the time.

This has a long way to go to get back to the valuation they had when they were loss making!

20p is a long way off now without positive contract news. It’s the cumulative effect on sentiment of repeated setbacks. Repeated delays. Oh yes, I know, this time it will be different.

Even whilst holding I rather fatefully sugggested I wondered if Tom would manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I just saw and read yesterday’s announcement as a big red flag. If I’m wrong and the contracts start flowing, happy days, and I hop back in. And if I’m right 14p will be expensive in a couple of months time.

It seems the ERF does not exist anymore, at least in its old form. It has been merged with other funding and this does seem to have a cap. As usual Tom makes a feeble attempt to put lipstick on a turd. It’s yet another delay and though it’s not the fault of the company that doesn’t make shareholders feel any better. Personally I do not like the sound of this latest development one little bit. I think it casts great uncertainty over contract prospects now. There was already enough (uncertainty) but this does not look good when you hear Tom mention ‘turmoil’ in the NHS. Revenue under a million and burning cash like tomorrow with Oakley taking on expensive new staff with a ‘department of external affairs’ wtf.

And they’ve raised it back up. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this in the blue before the end of the day

I think IB answers my question. If they’re happy to take 100k @ 16.72 then they want the stock cos they aren’t holding much. Therefore yes they can play with the price.

Very harsh markdown on 1 trade! What a circus AIM is. We had dozens of buys to get the equivalent rise yesterday and 1 trade and lose the lot. Either there is large delayed sells or MM’s have no stock and can therefore play with the price.

OK you can sell in quantity for 17p now so why are we sitting at 16.75 mid? Probably a single stubborn MM hasn’t moved up.

Any buy above 2k shares goes to NT now and I see folks paying 17.25 so must be a tick up coming. Would be good to see this moving a bit in advance of news. But no wild spikes please. Yet😜

Another thing worth mentioning is that once you finally win business with the NHS it is sticky. It won’t be one off revenue it’s annual recurring. That’s important to the market in terms of valuation.

Everything does look to be perfectly aligned. As I mentioned yesterday I suspect the timing of a late Easter in mid April typically hasn’t helped. Key staff in the NHS, indeed everywhere, probably Feedback as well, will be on leave.

Yes if it’s going to happen, and we’ve been led to believe it should, news should be coming very soon. Possibly only the Easter break with key staff on holiday is holding things up.

Well Trek your observation re a placing was extremely well timed. Hopefully now the uncertainty of funding is removed (with no discount) this will provide a floor under the shares.

With gold at record levels and Lexington already have a sizeable amount this can begin to edge northwards with the rest of the market.

That’s three decent sized buys crept in in the last day. I would think if there had been an overhang it must be clear or clearing by now. £15k buy late yesterday.

You have as much an idea as I do as regards to contracts landing🤷‍♂️

That said, if it’s going to happen, it’s around, and from, this time of year.

I have to confess that in the current market environment I was surprised they were able to raise over £6m in last Novembers placing. Especially considering that was more than the MC at the time. I’m guessing they’re burning roughly £300k pm so with cash at £7.25m at November 2024 they probably have circa £5.75m by end April. That’s sufficient to see them through to first quarter of 2026 I would think. Let’s hope we have some juicy contracts before then.

Thus current EV is £1.25m which, if contracts begin to land will look utterly ridiculous. IF!

Given that the company is now cash generating albeit rather modestly so atm am I the only person who finds it extraordinary that this has an EV of £3.3m? 🤷‍♂️

Surely this is undervalued?

My end game here remains that this will be sold to a larger coatings company. I’m positive that was the end strategy of the current CEO being brought in.

Yes that’s entirely possible although it’s important to note that placing prices have been historically good and even at a premium. The gold price has to be a big plus for investors and good to get in before the bull crowd arrive.
