An excerpt from this mornings RNS:

"The Visitect CD4 LFA achieved a high level result agreement with reference testing instruments when used by laboratory trained HCW on venous blood (sensitivity of 95.0% and specificity of 81.9%) and by clinicians on FP samples at POC (sensitivity 98.3% and specificity of 77.2%)."

In other words the results you get are reliable. And almost the same accuracy as the existing laboratory results. Thats pretty impressive. I wonder whether, in time, since it is much quicker and as accurate as the lab tests - and cheaper - whether it could replace them completely? Its a mouth watering thought anyway and not impossible?

SP Up over 10% this morning on no volume. Clearly hard to pick up stock in any quantity. Makes you wonder whats going on in the background.

A rareity for ODX. 2nd RNS very interesting. An evaluation study undertaken in Southern Africa for the Visitect Advanced Disease Test. An encouraging conclusion from MSF and yet another endorsement for this product.

Orders to follow in the next few weeks/months by MSF in advance of WHO prerequisite?

Not dramatically. Added 0.1% but welcome nonetheless they are buyers again. Their holdings have fluctuated over time but they have had a core holding long term.

The Health Secretary Matt Han**** has called on ALL repeat ALL UK Life Sciences (which specifically includes Diagnostics) companies to join the fight against Covid 19 by making antigen/antibody tests. ODX are right in that space with, I believe, the necessary expertise and crucially production capacity. Come on ODX! Do your patriotic duty.

Two reasonably positive balanced announcements. In the circumstances as good as we could’ve hoped for.

All holders, fantastic SP recovery - what a shame my crystal ball wasn’t working properly the other day when this had sank to a mere 16p or less! Who could’ve foreseen such a surge back up but I agree the announcement was very positive in the circumstances.

I’ve just read through January’s eye watering placing RNS for any mention of a lock in for placees. I can’t see any mention of a lock in, is my understanding correct? Also I see TPI have been given option on 92.5 million warrants exercisable @ 0.5p over the next three years. At the current price placing participants can offload for an approx 50% short term profit and TPI are a potential thorn in the side for the next three years.. Is it therefore wise to be piling in at the current price? A long history of investing on AIM tells me that almost invariably, even after a short term rally, the SP sinks back down to the placing price or possibly lower. Of course if revenues begin to accelerate the downside pressure could be mitigated somewhat but I would exercise caution here.

Such a shame that this excellent company having worked so hard to progress what has already been a long term process. It’s clearly going to be hit badly and I hope it can survive and that loyal shareholders are not wiped out.

Davde - agreed, I think this company has been hit particularly hard because of the Chinese connection and the realisation that food Detective orders would inevitably be deferred if not cancelled. China is beginning a process to try and return to something like normality. We’ll have to see how that progresses. From the perspective of Visitect I guess it’s how much the WHO resources been diverted to Covid 19. Has the prequalification process been postponed or not?

I do think the company should clarify the position without any further delay. I am looking elsewhere and many companies are communicating with shareholders re Covid and their current status and we were told that communication would be better under the current CEO.

So if anyone from Omega is reading this please show some respect for your shareholders.

chilting - I totally agree with you long term. I am watching this closely. However, in a vicious bear market with a hefty high growth valuation it potentially has a Lot further to fall from here. Bottom under a pound? Quite likely in this market.

rivaldo - yes I’m glad you pointed out that the link was originally posted by longshanks on advfn. I had meant to say so but neglected to - don’t want the credit :)

Looking forward to an interesting week ahead. Another RNS update on the Advanced Test and/or Food Detective is not out of the question. But even if not, as rivaldo rightly says, we have momentum now. Our current valuation - let alone forward looking - is still too low. Substantial annual growth in the next five or so years is becoming more and more likely. This has been a tortoise for so long that is how it’s preceived but a hockey stick could be on the cards.

The 6m tests is the combined total for 200 and 350. It’s important to point out that ODX themselves are hoping for 4m tests in 3-5 years which would still be transformative if we achieved that number. Basically ODX say the total market for POC tests is 6m tests a year and they are (perhaps conservatively) hoping to capture 66% of that market. Finncap are essentially saying they’ll end up with the whole market.

Hi up, Traders are not at all interested in fundamentals. Its of no interest to them. They make a profit and they're out. We may actually see more traders turn up here than usual now Zak Mir has covered 'Omega Dynamics' (yes that's actually what he called us) for the first time. FWIW he (ZM) was very bullish about the SP pattern. Mind you he's wrong quite a lot lol.
