I used to have a VERY negative viewpoint on this company due to Satu and George. But now they are gone the landscape has undoubtedly changed and so consequently has my view on the company. Potentially it is a new animal.

Main bull points : New management provides a new opportunity for investors but they do need to make a good solid appointment as chairman (good that it is non-exec imo). They have projects at different stages of development albeit someway from commercialisation but with undoubted potential. Consolidated SP is a positive imv as long as they can produce shareholder value going forward.

Main bear points : risk that new management will be no more effective - but difficult to imagine quite honestly could they be ANY worse. Millions of new shares issued is my main concern which could suppress SP for some time if placees flip. Risk that they will not attract new partnerships that are needed.

Overall : its positive enough for me to take a small initial position but I'm cautious due to the new shares coming on the market. They need a good positive newsflow to counteract.

Just my view.

Separating the wheat from the chaff here. Which will make the rise that more explosive when we get news.

This is one of the major issues with Lab tests. I know they are talking, in this instance, about antigen tests, but the same thing will happen with antibody tests.

I wonder what could help speed things up a bit? The clue is in the name 'Rapid' and 'Point of Care'.

Worst case scenario government decide not to proceed with the RTC home test. Let’s say, for example, it doesn’t quite meet the accuracy required. Provided they get a CE mark (and accuracy will not be a prerequisite for that) then they will have a global market to go for instead. Not every country will have the highly demanding S&S level required by UK government and would be very happy to snap this test up.

ODX, as I have said before, def have more than one shot at goal here, more than one iron in the fire. Large UK government orders would be perfect but, even if not, ODX will still make good money out of this I am confident.

If I were a betting man I know what my money would be on between a vaccine and a home testing antibody kit being first out in the next six months.

My own view and going purely on historical precedence there is VERY little chance of an effective Covid vaccine in the next five years let alone six months.

The government is on a war footing and when you are at war you need propaganda to give the masses hope. That’s what the briefing by Alok Sharma was all about. Propaganda. Make it look like you are doing something, taking action to ‘defeat the virus’.

It seems almost everyday there is some kind of new announcement that collectively should knock the SP for six here be it another blockbuster lab test or a miracle do it in weeks vaccine but the SP keeps bouncing back. Is the market telling you something or is it blind hope? That’s for you to figure out.

No news is good news or bad news?

The point is this project is so politically sensitive because the success of the government 5 pillar plan depends on it. It cannot be executed through one, two, three or more lab tests which is what we currently have. It needs a home testing kit. Period. That has been confirmed from a number of different key players.

It takes time though and patience is required. Something that is in painfully short supply amongst some.

But the ‘Burger Van’ company when not flipping their patties somehow contrived to produce (in conjunction with their Aussie partners Burnet (presumably they were having a break from their barby) a UNIQUE product - the worlds first rapid POC test not requiring any power, platform or machinery. Not your average AIM company but one with a USP product.

So they’ve already proved their pedigree for such a small player.

So, it’s time for Punters to put up or shut up. NOT ODX.

I think we can’t underestimate just how critical this study is for our tests prospects.

We can be sure ‘our’ test will be one of those tried out in the REACT2 study. The question is how many others will and who makes them? Will Mologics POC Test participate as accuracy is not part of the scope of the study but ease of use.

Our participation in the study does not necessarily prove we have design freeze yet but it does perhaps demonstrate we are close or very close. Jonathan Allis has already stated our test is ‘nearly’ 100% accurate and ready for manufacturing scale up. I could speculate by saying that if we pass this ease of use test by the public plus our perceived accuracy that design freeze will be confirmed and the government will start confirming orders.

Newboy - Yep that’s the one - REACT2. It’s not to test accuracy it’s to test ease of use.

There will be a further extended study - yet to be announced - called RAPTOR.

I can state for sure that ODX have submitted for the consortiums POC home-test to be in the REACT2 study.

And remind ourselves there is a LOT going on behind the scenes...
