Don't expect too much tomorrow. Tonights event was indeed positive. A slow steady SP increase from here would be a preferable to a brief spike. I'm assuming we should get an official announcement when the P3 trial starts in earnest, hopefully before the end of this month. It's possible that we may now get initial Home Trial readout before the end of the year; particularly if the 1 or 2 patients recruited per day becomes 2, 3 or 4 a day as cases and awareness grows. I'm optimistic about that. The potential revenue figures are staggering and not impossible. But the bit which makes the most sense to me is the stockpiling of supplies of SNG001 going forward. It makes sense surely in the light (or darkness!) of the Covid pandemic, governments around the world will wish to be prudent and be prepared for the inevitability of the next Virus.

SP tomorrow doesn't matter. What we would like to see is just a shift in sentiment after the vaccine slam.

The JV should be confirmed and announced before the end of this month (just legals being sorted now). Our JV Partners AAZ have stated they intend to kick off the exploration program before the end of the year. By which time - assuming the aforesaid happens - the SP will be somewhat higher than the current 34.5P!

Hi Woodstock, funnily enough that was something (dropping the trial) that occurred to me after the first vaccine announcement which, let’s face it, was groundbreaking news.

However I do not think it is either likely OR possible that this would happen. It would cause a catastrophic fall in the SP and shred the companies reliability and trust within the market irrevocably. No, even if they considered it, which I do not believe they have, there is zero chance they could do it.

Also, they have categorically stated COPD is firmly on the back burner. Again, credibility is at stake here. No they are ploughing on with COVID (quite rightly) full steam ahead.

I am concerned though at the unnecessary confusion they cause by not communicating trial activity and progress on an ongoing basis. How many times have had to resort to super sleuth detective work to try and figure out what the heck is going on over the past few months. Finding the trial on clinical trials.gov but no clarification from the company was a good case in point. Imo they’ve been poor in this area and we’ve all been left guessing, just like we are again today.

It’s not good enough. RM needs to issue an RNS tomorrow to clear things up and stop the confusion and second guessing by investors.

Yes patience is all that’s required. Another day closer to those all important drilling results.. I can wait but I can’t wait if you know what I mean.

Read the announcement. CIGA are the distributor. However that does not mean that ODX will not be manufacturing any of the tests which CIGA distribute. We don’t know that, at least atm. But it matters not, the news and the trend is positive without doubt. A new market is opened up and if or when EUA is approved I’m sure ODX will get their slice of the cake.

But I agree that I can’t see why ODX could not at least be retweeting or promoting this news now the lead partner Abingdon have announced. Perhaps they had to wait for Abingdon to announce.

If you read the announcement it states that CIGA will distribute the test - not ODX. My assumption is that this is an agreed interim measure amongst the consortium partners prior to EUA. Thus atm it does not DIRECTLY affect ODX. I have little doubt ODX will be involved if/when EUA is approved. Which imo won’t be long. So yes it’s good news but perhaps that’s why ODX haven’t been ‘all over it’ yet.

Looks like ODX have a new (rather large) market for the rapid test. EUA should hopefully follow.

A sell on news announcement and also keep in mind that this will have to be funded. I know they have a bit of cash but no question in my mind that for the whole exploration shebang they will need more wonga. So that will be another thing on the markets mind.

And fair play to RS for both advising market so promptly AND confirming out completely. There was no obligation on him to do so and many don’t leaving the market guessing.
