You really should now that the Lse does not give out that information to the retail platforms. They only ‘guess’ & this site gets it wrong a lot of the time. So much you guys need to learn.

Hi, I’m sure that you will find increases in the retail nominee accounts next Month. Because that’s where it usually goes. Millions of PI’s averaging down by small amounts. Noloss there is more to this than just opening a broker account & looking at retail bb’s. Although it appears that many think that that is all ye need to do.

Don’t you think that with AMC struggling to place $10m worth of equity, about 24% of issuance & the sp at a near a 15 Month low, it would be the perfect time to start accumulating by buying the new stock that has become available. Because that’s what usually happens. Ain’t happening though is it. Knowledge of how this works is much more profitable than guessing.

Hi Maybach, if there is an announcement it might be for a firm to replace Riverfort. No one said that it would have anything to do with raising the stock price. Next Week will be amusing if nothing else.

Hi Noloss, there appears to be a lot of confusion here. I don’t know of any stocks that have been forecast to rise on a specific Week & have obliged. Further more who said that stocks always rise on a takeover. Look at Aquarius Platinum AQP for eg, 15 years with a low of 40p, then a drop to 6p & a takeover at 13p. Was a Pro intermediary use or was it shorted ? Some here think that a buyer wont buy now, but later offer 50p.

This time next Week- loads of money ! normally Pro’s are ahead of PI’s but not this time. Don’t you just love a sure thing.

Hi, re your comment yesterday about holders selling on a spike. Well some have been holding for 10 years & didn’t sell on the 2015 44p spike. Maybe that answers your question.

Hi Maybach, yes level 2, I don’t look at AIM stocks much but bear in mind that on some days none of the trades go through the level 2 book. It is only used for reference pricing & reporting. With FT100 stocks, about 99.8% go through the book, that’s what moves the price. Darkpools can be used to hide trades. Level 2 is a must if your day trading. But you need to know how it works & how it is set up in the morning. How the Pro’s use it to make money each day. How a share price can be run up & down the book etc. This applies to liquid stocks not illiquid small caps. It’s a completely different concept to investing. Your less interesting in the company, just how it is being traded.

Noloss hi, the only thing stopping the share price from rising to 10p plus is the managed selling. Turn it off & you could quite easily see a lot more. Question is why don’t they do it ? there may be tight limits on how this placing can be managed. Be honest it baffles me.

Maybach hi, Yes there are orders below but that is normal & may never get exercised. The idea is that if the stock spikes down, the orders may get filled. Some will be visible in the order book but as most trading is off book, they will not be seen by the general public.

Hi Spud, you have to ask why PI’s are attracted to AIM stocks. Is it because the share price is cheap or that the spread is wide so they see big moves of ‘no value’. If it wasn’t for the equalled selling this stock could have been up considerably this Month. This is why there are no Pro traders. This could be managed very differently but this way has been chosen for some reason. See what happens, you never know.

The term ‘market’ encompasses Pro’s & Funds. Both of which appear to have little interest in AMC. It’s fair to say that there has been increased interest. Most probably from existing holders averaging down & new comers. Any increase in the retail nominee accounts will confirm this. The problem is that the increased buying has been matched with selling. Extracting any upside value.

Hi Spud, Stocks are supposed to ‘float’ on the stock market, 'osculate'. Anything’s possible when the shackles are taken off. If only for a brief moment in time.

Hi Schach, just looked at the trading on this, it’s another PI wonder share. Look at the book & tape, not a Pro trader in sight, less book activity than AMC & that’s saying something. Liquidity providers & price discovery, wherefore art thou. 2006 high of 44.70p & it’s just bounced off it’s near 2016 low. VWAP now well above SP at 0.067931. Take care, if you’ve made a profit. One bird in the hand is worth two possible ones in the bush. Gambling in the stock market is the same as a slot machine, if you don’t walk away it will take the money back. FRR has recently been played, huge sale in the aftermarket on Friday & a minus 27% open today.

Hi John, excellent to see someone asking the right questions. You are correct they do just change hands. The question is what exercised the trade, a buy request or a sell. That also doesn’t really matter, it’s the value at which the trade took place. Whether the over all share price is increased or decreased. PI trades through retail brokers are mostly off book, so the share price impact is far less than a Pro’s trade can be. Trades are reported in different ways dependant on the venue used, which can be baffling for newcomers. The buyer may not be more or less clued, just covering a short position.

Hi Spud, where do you get big institutional holders from ? Mutual funds, pension etc do not invest in high risk non profit making aim stocks & for good reason. If there were, they could have influence on the board. Don’t confuse aim stocks with the blue chips.

The long term funding of the project is the most important element here. Obviously there has been some issues with the current agreement due to the low volume of sales. All being well a successor to Riverfort will be announced shortly to continue the authorised placing, beyond the current tranche. The increased sales volume is a step in the right direction.
