Stock & Public being worked hard with elevated volumes, looks like a small handful of individuals are earning their Christmas bonus’s this year ! That said, it’s business as usual, nothing out of the ordinary. I could post the same on the BOO board & many others.

Hi Super, The Industry & PI’s on these bb’s are in different universes. Ethel is a very simple example. As you would expect, the system running in the background is far far more sophisticated. The point is that it’s an input cost devaluing process & the stock has been in the process for a good few Months now. The equal short recoups the loss. So your position is sitting at the lower price level without any loss. Industry Professionals don’t make losses. As there is still volume to be worked I expect this to continue. A continuation over time will gradually drop the averages, overall system price & SP by default. If however, as with Friday, PI’s keep buying as the Industry are selling that input value may mitigate the drop slightly. If say the takeover takes place at 20p that stock will be sold without loss. Apart from the DIY PI positions.

Amazingly there is an Industry in the background, Business model. Computer system & programs running on that system. Visual Graphs & the mechanics that generate the graphs, pre programmed trades, none of which is discussed on these bb’s. Although folk here are participants they prefer not to look below the surface.

You can put your head in the sand that’s your choice but from the evidence this very much looks like a done deal. Share price, high volumes being ‘Professionally worked’ & CEO departure. Typically these actions are conducted at a period of time Average. Which is already at a historical low. So this brings to Hedging:

Ethel holds an equal Long & Short position at a £1 price level. The SP drops to 25p both positions are reconciled. This transfers the profit on the Short to the loss on the long & flattens the position. This action is non-profit but devalues the input cost, ‘without loss’. There is a lot of volume sitting on the system & I won’t be surprised to see the SP continue to drop over the coming Weeks.

Mannan, no reason for the SP to move down due to the bad news either, PI’s don’t sell they Invest. But they do sell when they are induced too & that’s what makes the ‘Trade’ worth doing.

Scotpak, there are the most obvious explanations put forward on these bb’s by the General Public & then there are the stock movements. Question is, is there any relation ? Does the dog wag the tail or does the tail wag the dog ?

The answer to your question is that under the cover of Oil’s rise, if the SP continues to rise, the volume involved in the process was completed. If that’s not the case, it wasn’t.

Everyone’s making good money off the listing apart from DIY PI’s, why should anything change. A lot of profit derives from Joe Public. The Management mode changes under WTI $72 / 73. Some Oil Traders think that Oil could drop to $50 next year due to oversupply. So the current situation could continue for quite sometime. Requiring an in depth knowledge of Trading. Including the mechanics involved. More in relation to AIM than FT250. The computerised system is fluid & can be adjusted at anytime. Some values change by default. This does not occur in a Casino after you have placed your bet.

Oil has been in a difficult place for quite sometime. Traders were hoping that the China reopening would boost demand but that has not occurred. If the Oil price needs War or Armageddon to be sustained then there’s a serious issue. Opec meeting next Month but will they agree to a cut ? Red or Black.

Hi Anton, question for ye, is there any news due for TLW over the Month, that you are aware of ? I ask wondering if this is just standard Industry trading or there might be a genuine reason. Thanks. I note that there is a deviation from the usual listing Management.

In general value is continually extracted from listings. Which over time results in Price Decay & Market Cap depreciation. Not to be confused with Share Price Management. But nay worry there is a solution, Share Price consolidation. Some years ago GKP had a 100 to 1 consolidation, which took the SP back to £1. So there is hope.

If the Debt is equal to the GDP then technically the Country is already bankrupt. So the Pound will maybe be devalued to compensate. I’m surprised the interest is as little as 4%. As I have mentioned before modern Politicians don’t know how to generate wealth. I think it is Norway that has the highest current account ‘Surplus’ exporting energy. The solution is at our fingertips. This electric crusade is going to cost well over £100 billion. I do wonder if the UK simply can’t afford it.

It is bewildering that so many people want to move to the UK while many of the indigenous population see the quality of life deteriorating & want to leave. My guess is that 100+ years ago politicians were industrialist & knew how to create wealth. Something that the modern generations know nothing about. I’m looking forward to the economy collapsing when fossil fuel vehicles are no long allowed and most of the population can’t afford EV’s.

Oil fell due to Saudi signalling that it is going to increase production & rose due to a loose comment about targeting Iran’s oil terminal. Which is very unlikely to happen. Russian Oil has a price cap due to Ukraine but it’s not prevented from exporting for the obvious reason. Commodities like stocks are ‘Traded’.

The only reason why Co’s list on Stock Markets is for…… Funding. And it’s interest free ! Ex AMC holders will be well schooled as to Stock Market Funding methods. Groovy ain’t it. What this needs is an ‘Investor’ introducing.. Crede perhaps ?

Thanks for the reply & a good answer. I would say that’s roughly inline with the Retail perspective. My answer is 11 Investment Banks – use to be 17, 1 private firm & a managed Client Nominee A/c make up for over 99.9% of the trades. The balance is a hand full of PI’s.

Globally PI’s only account for around 3.5% of trades. Private Professional firms are very selective when choosing stocks to trade because they are aware of the system set up & ultimate price control involved, especially with Low-Volume stocks.

JMAX hi, I notice you mention the Market. What’s your definition of the Market & can you please list who you think trades TLW. Roughly what makes up the trades going through, thanks.

No it’s just a Trade. When the volume is exhausted, it’s the end. PI’s only research the Company data but the Company doesn’t work the listing.

Yep Stupmy, spot on. I use to know a Chap who ran Pubs in the Banking area, sadly he died. He said the Bankers had unbelievable wealth. One issue is that the Industry know the value added by PI’s at any given time. And can take the SP down to induce them to sell. Knowing that the true value is above. PI’s only know about buying & selling / Long & Short, but that’s not the full story. I’d describe it as a bubble within a bubble. I’ve tried explaining some of the complexity to intelligent educated individuals & it’s impossible because it’s so abstract. And that wasn’t including things like partition function in relation to managing stock channels.
