Hi Carrefour, in short PI’s need to buy more stock & in the absence of company profits effecting the bottom line, marketing & sales are key. Daltry, you are correct, it is the price x volume but if the stock is sold short & later covered at a lower price, then that can cause a negative value. It all comes down to the maths.

Hi daltry, here’s a thought for you, if the market maker sell shares to a PI ‘short’ & thus needing to buy to cover later, obviously at a lower price. Does that increase the shares value, leave it flat or decrease the value ?

Something is certainly brewing & the net result will be an increase of stock held in the PI nominee accounts. Feelings & guess work is no match for the Pro’s.

A Friday rise, left over the Weekend is excellent to get the stock noticed. Lets hope it induces novices to buy next Week, as sales need to improve.

One question could be, re ‘Investors’ it appears that for some reason, most probably the lack of trading volume for activity to be worth while, they up & run at the earliest opportunity. The latest appears not to be a DMM & thus has no obligation to stay. What’s the back up plan if they decide to follow the previous two ?

Looking at the increased number of quotes in the order book, yes it does appear that someone has replaced the Vidacos accounts clients, activity. It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next 12 Months & what placing vehicle will be chosen next year, but for now it’s price decay. Geng, the fact that they do not need to declare should indicate their business activity…..

After market & delayed publication, slipped in over the day. Excellent to see sales improving.

Might mean another family office, ie a Prop shop. Large sales may be noticeable or not so obvious via an intermediary market maker. Signs, if the stock trades in a side channel, with rises being scalped, then it’s also probably managed as an income fund for their clients. One thing for sure, it’s not a charity.

Hi Lucando, just before Christmas someone moved the sp by taking out the order book quotes in 100 share blocks, about a fiver’s worth per trade. I would guess that it was a Pro trader just having a bit of fun. The sp fell back though as there was no value attached. This is the issue with illiquid stocks.

Hi Cosy, the RNS states 2-3 Months from that date. Posters omitted option 4, however if this is status quo & with a £12m pot to tap, then I would expect to see increased issuance. Unless there are exchange / regulatory restrictions. The last time that there was 1m blocks sold, the spread widened to around 42% & sp fell to 1.57, starting from a higher level. It may be best to take comfort & be distracted by the nickel posts.

Why discuss it, you know what the cheapest option will be. The interesting question is , in what format will the placing take place, Crede model, Riverfort intermediary or other ?

Excellent to see a sizeable sale. Lets hope sales increase, to assist with the cash flow issue.

Institutional investors ‘Prop’s’, trade, as the only objective for them is to make money for their clients. They buy ahead of a news point & sell just prior to the news. This activity is only possible if there is enough Volume being traded & thus that magical word ‘Liquidity’. Which also dictates the type of trading activity applicable to the stock. An example of this is how the type of trading activity that the occupant of the Vidacos account was conducting, differs prior to May 2017 & after. Why have they now departed, is it no longer profitable for them. Pro’s trade on trading activity & mathematics. ‘Fact’ not possible future fantasy’s, as there are too many unknowns along the way. What the company does or is doing is irrelevant, that’s for PI’s to consume themselves with. As to which strategy is best & more profitable, I’ll let you decide.

‘when AMC departs Riverfort’ That’s an in depth statement. Do you expect the business model to change ? & if so in what form do you expect the project to be funded. Because it won’t run on thin air. The object of the listing is the funding & the cheapest option available in the absence of generated income to pay loan interest. The name of the Prop firm may change but the business model is far more complex.

Same line of discussion crop’s up every couple of years or so, but with different punters. Re the cash flow highlighted, lets hope sales improve over the next few Months.

The UK market has been the most shorted market for the last few years due to Brexit. Which is normal Pro trading activity. It could be said that the UK market in general has one of the most sophisticated money extraction systems. It’s only novices that view the market as investments because that’s the way it’s marketed. There has been many changes over the last decade or so, SETS, MIFID 2 etc which has radically change the market set up. Sadly the non industry trained are oblivious to the details.

Excellent to see sales continuing regardless of the price decay. Sales are the most important factor.
