Ferret hi, VWAP, RSI and MACD etc etc are all retail indicators. Stocks can 'follow' these indicators if it will assist volume. But if you want to understand why 'low volume' stocks are restricted to side-channels, it might be helpful to study market making.

Previously asked about on this bb was small trades. Eg a large sell order drops the increase to +5%. Then amazingly 5 minutes after a small buy for just 15 shares, 21p worth, takes the stock back up to +16.32%. Don't you just love large spread AIM stocks. Remember to gamble responsibly.

Hi GB33, the whole system is an auction. Eg lets say the spread is tight with small volume quotes. Small buys come in & as a result the sp jumps. Novices see the price movement & get caught up in the auction movement. Paying well over the odds as the stock is run up. At the end of the move the spread widens & they are trapped with a big loss. This is why Pro’s prefer to trade liquid stocks. That said, good to see Sales improving.

So which bright spark got carried away in the auction & bought at 1.35, ouch

It's most unlikely that anyone will be tacking delivery of oil at these prices & with storage brimming. Not when they were paid to take it for free, with the previous contract. It will be an interesting graph when these longs are closed out. Financial markets totally disconnected from fundamentals due to too much loose money.

Good to see sales progressing nicely, be they during open hours or after market. Always best to leave a little on the hook, to keep the fish nibbling.

Forecast to reach full capacity in the next few weeks. Oil will have nowhere to go & few customers. Futures usually overshoot in both directions. Lets hope that debt can be serviced at these lower prices.

All I’ve seen for days is standard market making activity & aggressive selling. Holding the stock in price channels. Hasn’t the number of shares in issue reduced ? RNS’s looks like buying, but is some of this just to cover their clients CFD short positions ? May explain the suppressed price movement. Any thoughts …..

Oil moves up & it appears that the tracking algo’s are turned off. Too busy side channel selling the Gap profit. Or perhaps I should say short selling to retail.

Lucando hi, Pro’s in the industry view activity as a ‘business’ ie an income stream. As with any business, it’s all about making daily profit to pay payrolls. Novice PI’s view this as an investment because that’s the way it’s marketed to them. Doesn’t matter how intelligent PI’s are, without industry training they will not have a clue of what is occurring in the background & struggle to piece together what they see. The vast majority of money involved, only flows in one direction. It’s a perfect combination.

Excellent to see the increased traded volume. Hopefully the new contractor will experience better sales volumes, than the previous two. Sales are the most important factor.

Specific fundamentals to be considered: what value ratio of sales to bought stock is currently taking place, at what price can the options / warrants be exercised & will they be sold, what price will the next funding dilution take place. In the absence of news, apart from the ‘market mechanics’, has anything change ?

Excellent to see those that are funding this project, averaging down & topping up their
eyesore’s. Enabling sizable periodic sales to take place during the trading period & the odd after market sale. Let’s hope healthy sales continue in the new fiscal year.

Impact of the lack of traded volume & how this effects the current funding business model & third parties involved. Impact of a possible share consolidation & years of status quo dilution thereafter. Plenty of valuations of the asset here, but what’s the impact of the dilution ratio of the asset to the share price. What price a TA could be at, might it involve shorting first to achieve a bargain price for the buyer. Instructing professionals ie a market maker to acquire stock at the best price possible or below a chosen level. How best to mitigate risk while investing over the long term, So many unknowns to contemplate, perhaps.

Hi Speedie, it would be good to see a substantial rise to offer the opportunity for some to get out. Problem is that there is rarely an opportunity when someone is not in the background, with a sizable position to sell. The last time that I can remember a pause was at the end of the Crede contract & that was short lived. Due to low volume, placings now appear to be overlapping.

Speedymeadie, that would imply changing the business model, sometimes it’s best to stick with what you know. Similar to posters here just posting the retail stuff found on the internet, instead of learning how the stock market works & making money.
