Hi Crazy, I did highlight the new Mifid2 regulation a while back, which has changed the trading set up for all stocks. One element of this is clarity. Clarity may be taken as a fog to some & eyebrow raising to others. If someone has a lot of stock they can sell some to others, by whichever means. What the buyer uses the stock for is their concern. As you well know, just because someone buys a position that doesn't mean that they are a long term investor, as a PI would view it. Ask yourself which trading activity is currently most profitable with this 'category' of stock. Currently all I can see is market making & a couple of Pro traders. O yes & some PI's of course. Regarding market making, different rules apply to different players. With the stock market nothing is as simple as it may appear.
