Hi, sorry to hear that but not surprised. The 'old' industry has recently made fantastic profits. PMO a 70% bounce in one day followed by a 200% gain, pull back & back to 32p. Tullow twice a 30% gain over 2 days. Followed by a rise of over 350%. Enq plus 100% LAM recently actively traded by Pro's a 230% gain. HUR a 20% rise today. GKP also moving well. What a coincidence that quite a few of these stocks bottomed at 7p. Just a few examples. So easy to turn £25k into £200k+ in a few Months.

Hi Spud, I've said many times that posters here don't have a clue & it's the blind leading the blind. Here's some key points: have recent placing contractors contracts been cut short, possibly due to not being able to meet the volume of sales required to make the exercise profitable for them ? Have some employees been paid in shares ? Is the volume of sales an issue ? & you want to fund a smelter by the same mechanism ? might that result in crashing the share price ?

2partacus hi, the current 1bn issue plus the initial floatation money, has funded the project for a period of 14 years. The next 1bn is for future funding. Timeline unknown however a brake down of costs & expenses will be detailed in the yearend accounts, due out soon. Hopefully that will clarify the details for you.

Hi Noloss, an investor could be thought of as a prop shop, family office, market maker or pro trader etc with privileged access. But it might be best to view them simply as a wholesaler selling to retail. As they are 'trade' their identities do not need to be published. The bulk of recent transactions have been ACTX Agency Cross Trades. You can look this up or I can clarify the detail if you wish. In general, market making is best conducted at a price level which will yield the most low risk volume. Hope this helps to explain some of the mechanics.

Novices really don't have a clue what is going on here do ye. Obviously there is no outside interest of any type. Resulting in stats quo continuous dilution for many more years to come. If the business model works there's no need to change it. This is why retail is known in the industry as the dumb money.

Onassis hi, the good news is the funding contract to cover the next few months. The issue is as usual enough volume to sell the stock into. A little house keeping currently before it starts. Obviously someone wasn't too happy on Wednesday. Lets hope sales proceed well, over the rest of the year.

Hi PottyTime, that's exactly the view that I am getting & it's not just with this stock. This might be the new game in town or the regulator may put a stop to it. There purpose to be 'Chinese walls' between the market maker desk & the trader desk. Don't you just love untradeable side-channels.

Hi Crazy, I did highlight the new Mifid2 regulation a while back, which has changed the trading set up for all stocks. One element of this is clarity. Clarity may be taken as a fog to some & eyebrow raising to others. If someone has a lot of stock they can sell some to others, by whichever means. What the buyer uses the stock for is their concern. As you well know, just because someone buys a position that doesn't mean that they are a long term investor, as a PI would view it. Ask yourself which trading activity is currently most profitable with this 'category' of stock. Currently all I can see is market making & a couple of Pro traders. O yes & some PI's of course. Regarding market making, different rules apply to different players. With the stock market nothing is as simple as it may appear.

'The Bid, ask, spread and quantities are not in keeping with a company creaming off a quick 5 to 10%'. Crazy, who do you think is running the show & which type of activity is used to get shares sold into the PI nominee accounts ? Why are large buy orders placed in the book & do they actually get exercised ? Heard of shorting-to-retail ? short positions need covering at lower prices too close. The list is endless. On another point, good to see punters averaging down & assisting Sales.

O a dilution RNS, what a surprise... not, novices well out of their depth here, as usual. TDC the drop was due to the 08:05 UT, so is it due to PI's selling ? also someone bought at 1.75 just prior, ouch ! Small trades again, what is that all about, does anyone here have a clue ? In general there are different types, some are just large trades split up & others may be something else. If a large sale goes through without any buys then the sp will drop. If the object is to extract value at higher prices then you don't want that. Note the purchase of 499,219 shares which enabled enough value for the 792,359 sale which followed. Sales you can see plus the stock sold to buyers, equals a good sales day. But this is all about investing, right ?

Small but as obvious is it as a lump hammer. Good to see sellers taking advantage of the system.

Hi Kraken, who's in control here, industry trained professionals or untrained PI's ? is it of any surprise, at least you've sussed it out. All most see is side-channelling & don't question it.

Enjoy the party until the RNS comes out. Nothing changes unless the business model changes. Until then, it's the same funding model & you should know by now what that is.

1.445 paid ! x 37 shares, 54p worth. Impressive someone has confidence. Issue is Crazy when you want to sell at volume.
