Interesting that the stock hasn’t dropped much below 59p over the last Week. Maybe someone should try harder. We all like our bargains. In general though, there is less daily volume being traded & less fresh money being input from PI’s. All makes for a different type of rise ie slowly.

The minute the market closed today the pace of Oil trades picked up. WTI closed up $1.20 at $76.36. From what I can gather the Opec+ meeting is suspended, due to disagreement & possibly for this Month ?. Re the after market trades, some maybe delayed publication. Don’t take any notice of whether it is red or blue. The colour coding is based on the price of the preceding trade & is little more than a guess. Also for every sell there is a buy. The devil is in the detail & there is always more detail than you realise, a lot more.

Exciting stuff this ‘Investing’ isn’t it, nearly as exciting as watching paint dry. I’m looking forward to the next share issuance, We all know there has to be one, at some time this year. Thinking of same, how come in the absence of issuance, the share price doesn’t increase in value. PI’s are continuously buying, so where is da money going. Make’s you think doesn’t it, are PI’s missing something or just focused on the wrong areas ?

Hi Rodgetrade, If your looking at level 2 you can’t see all the Quotes available because your not looking at the off book venues. Only the automated trades are aggressively traded against the Lse. 99.9% of the PI trades are off book.

Hi Albie, what I will say is that this is like a big jigsaw. When you find one piece, you realise that there is another missing piece & so on. With lots of smoke & mirrors along the way & no rulebook, unless you work in the industry. Plumshare I know some very successful traders that just work off graphs without any knowledge of the mechanics that have created the graph’s. If you would like me to explain all aspects it would take 8 hours a day for at least a Week & that would exclude time for questions. Lets see what happens next, if the Prop Desk running the show can squeeze anymore out of this, I’m sure they will.

Haha, yes if your Joe Public, with no knowledge of the mechanic’s running in the background & the Trade that has just taken place. Then that’s the logical assumption.

Krisdavies8885 hi, if someone showed you a diagram & explained the setup running in the background, it would all make sense. You would also have a very different view & wide understanding of all the different ways shorts are used.

Unbelievable a day of random share quantities & values traded & the stock closes precisely at 20p. Now what are the odds of that , 20:1 or a million to one ?

Markettimer hi, the level 2 feed requires an exchange fee for each subscriber. That level of detail is a must for trading but not for investing. However technical knowledge is the most important factor. Something which PI’s overlook.

Looks like the Prop Desks that’s running the show’s, desired price for a nice easy consolidation to £4. For those looking for a 21p recovery, this will be £4.20. Difficult to decide which is worse, a 20p sp weighted with massive issuance or £4. Will there be any upside from £4 or will it be stagnant Side-Channelling to look forward too ? One day if the div’s are good this might be a good pension stock.

Is 20:1 so if this closes at 20p tomorrow, it will open at £4 on Friday.

Hi bensi, 10p would be grate, but I meant drop by 10p, say from a possible 70p peek.

Look at the graph, TLW has struggled to make this recent rise due to muted buying & selling pressure. If Oil keeps rising, it might briefly hit 70p over the next few days but it is high risk at this elevated price. If Oil pulls back it could easily drop around 10p. Higher the price, higher the risk & always less risk for Market Making.

Hmm, yes it’s OK ‘moving-the-price-up’ but what happens if someone wants to sell Volume at the elevated price. Who’s going to be on the buy side of the trade, Market Makers ? Not all PI’s hold indefinitely. First come first served.

The key words are ‘Funding’ & ‘Facility’ & approval by the Banks. Possibly meaning issuance underwriting. This might imply a dilution program or other financial products. Remember that the main reason for stocks listing is Funding. PI’s often are oblivious to that & think it is for their benefit. Time will tell.

Hi Scodingercat, spot on & no need to apologise whatsoever. The main issue is that the industry is marketed as an investment & Joe Pubic is totally blinkered to this. For everyone else involved & with most industries, what occurs is based on a day to day income stream business model. Not long term investment.
