I can't stand this moaning about the dividend increase . The dividend thrashes inflation, it just won't thrash it as much extra as the greedy want. Presumably if inflation ever hits 1% you will be calling for the increase to drop to say 1.25% as that more than covers inflation. You don't need to look far, local is fine, every , bypass, road widening scheme, every local it update, hospital extension, always goes multi times higher than quoted , and we are always told its cheaper to finish than to stop. The bottom line is the contractor gets much richer and taxpayers are left with less money.

Personal profit is fine, dishonest ripping of your country isn't. Please tell me any project funded by the taxpayer that's ever come in on time and on budget. What's this got to do with L&G? If they were worth anything they would all be coming up with roughly the same figure and wouldn't be needing to constantly reviewing them. What good is wide range of constantly changing predictions?
